Andrew Mackay on SEN this morning said that Everitt has informed Carlton that he will request a trade to them. They are now going to negotiate with the Swans this morning but he expects a deal to be done.

Well I suppose if you think about it, there were a few players out of contract.
These players would have thought that they were in a pretty good position to hit the Swans up for some more cash.
The Franklin deal would have restricted that ability somewhat.
It seems the Swans had resigned to the fact that Mummy and White would have to move on, and Armstrong as well.
So Lamb and Evetitt were the two wildcards left.
Maybe the Swans still have some plans for today or maybe even the pre season draft...
