This thread has been full of suggestions for changes, and some of them I would have like to see, but is changing two or three in and out of the team going to make much difference? Maybe a little but not enough to suddenly turn the whole team around. The change has got to come from somewhere else, not at the selection table.
Last year when the team was in league top form it seemed we were able to gut run the opposition out of the game, that has not happened for a while... is it a mental thing and the team just though that they could continue on from last year? I Dunno?

      Yeah, spot on.

The senior players need to start playing better. A couple of changes to fringe players isn't going to make much of a difference - there is no magical fix in the reserves.

This is the best comment I've seen here for a long time. It isn't players 18-22 on the team sheet that need to look at where they are going, it is players 1-18. And not too many of them can say they have actually played eight quarters of decent, let alone good, footy.

It does suck that we lost two of those 1-18 this week to injury.

Don't they normally have a traveling emergency player? Probs his turn (Towers)

Hawks unstoppable. Swans written off. Feels like 2012!

                    It would not surprise.

On Betfair Sydney were as short as 1.65 earlier in the week, but in the past 4 hours have drifted to 1.97. Pretty dramatic shift in sentiment unless there has been a whisper of a late change....

Correction Nankervis didn't either (I don't think). Only Towers - as the traveling emergency. The rest of the team travelled as named

I think the weather will help us.

Nothing like playing on a dry track - one less variable to worry about!

I hope someone has given Derickx a tap on the shoulder....A dry day, against a, not very tall, Crows outfit.....

If he wants his AFL career to happen, then he needs to show something worthwhile tomorrow.
