Tom D has been great and is growing in stature, Tom M is set to be a game changer!!

Unfortunately, both Lloyd and Mitchell are worthy of spots in the team, however I think that if we drop Lloyd for Mitchell then we will lose some of our pinpoint delivery into our forward line. Last season (and the beginning of this season) we were all complaining about the mids bombing it into the forward line, but now it is being directed. I know that some of this may be coincidence, but maybe it is also a bit of a flow-on effect, but since Lloyd came into the team the delivery into the forwards has been excellent. Mitchell is an inside player who is exceptional with extracting the ball, while Lloyd is an outside player who delivers it well. It is a nice problem to have.

It was funny, i was having a discussion with a friend. I think Elite gets bandied about too easily. We were talking about Mids. if each club has 4 main mids, then thats 72. say if you make the top 10% elite (still seems generous), then that means there's 7 elite mids in the comp. I mean otherwise you are adding Dustin Martin to the elite group with GAJ. Though I dare say he is off charts
