Nick Smith's game on Ballantyne was sensational. Poor guy always gets overlooked.

Easy to understand why there was so much frustration during the game. We clearly outplayed them, but kept making dumb errors. We did everything we could to keep them in the game.

Great game from Lloyd. His best so far. Cunningham was good as well. Once again kept Hill pretty quiet.

So happy we managed to get through. It's a pretty easy passage to the GF now.

Shocking call IMO. His tackling , pressure and one per centers were very good. He had a bad game with the boot, don't hang him for it.

Good news is that we beat freo who are an incredibly tough team. We did it with a disjointed lead up that saw three players returning from bonafide injuries and two more players having been rested. That means that the team wasn't as cohesive as it otherwise would have been ( not to mention the malceski injury)

Other positives are that hawthorn will probably end up playing freo in their prelim final which will be a bruising encounter for them.

I think that all bodes pretty well for us as we will most likely play Geelong ( maybe even at the s cg) On our way the grand final.

His defensive game was good I admit as it needs to be when you play with the Swans.However his clangers kept Fremantle in the game and stopped us getting the lead our dominance deserved.Mostly it was extremely poor kicking straight to Fremantle when clear and steaming into the forwards .Fremantle punished this and rightly so,

Was a horribly low turnout. But here is the thing - north v swans had about 20000 - so we are certainly doing something right (looks at glass with a few drops in it and notes it is half full)...

I'm putting it out there. I reckon we are carrying goodes currently. He could still have a five minute cameo, and will do some clever things because he doesn't panic but as a serious player he is gone.
