Nrl share them between Allianz and anz. No chance a Friday prelim will be moved. ANZ is where it's at. Get over yourselves about the venue. It was in great nic today.Comment

Give it a rest, barry. You are being silly. The only reason our PF was rescheduled in 2012, because both ANZ and SCG were unavailable on Saturday. Why didn't NRL played their SF at SFS then? There was a lot of noise in Melbourne because of it, because Hawks had to play on Saturday instead of Friday as they should have. If NRL decides that they want ANZ for themselves than we will play the PF at the SCG.Comment

Can perhaps everyone give the SCG v Homebush thing a rest? It's getting tiresome and taking the gloss off today's fantastic performance.
BTW I wouldn't be surprised if Freo still make it all the way to the GF. They can knock over the Hawks.Comment

ANZ can go from afl mode to rectangular in hours but much longer the other way.Comment

I live less than 20 mins normal driving time to ANZ Stadium and tried to take the free big event bus service. Due to a combination of horrendous traffic and sporadic buses, it took approx one hour and 45 mins to get there and we missed the first 5 mins of the game. A third member of our party tried to go by train from the eastern suburbs and sat on a train at Central that went nowhere for over 20 mins. He also missed the start of the game. Call him pathetic if you like but he said he won't bother again. As for me, given I work in the city it will be a complete lottery regarding how long it takes to get to ANZ Stadium on a Fri night game in 2 weeks.CIA Agent to Policeman: "Have you ever had anti-terrorist training?"
Policeman: "Yes, I was married once."Comment

I reckon Freo can beat Hawks too. Melbourne will go into mourning if it is Sydney v Freo Grand FinalComment

Just watched the recording. I'm not sure what most of what the early posters where talking about. I actually thought we played well. Thought we controlled the game for 3 out of the 4 qtrs. The effort and commitment were there. The luck just didn't go our way. And Fremantle played great. They took the most of their chances. And luck seemed to go their way. FWIW
- Parker was extraordinary. His battle with Fyfe was a great contest.
- Smith was sensational against Ballantyne.
- Hannebery was excellent in 1st half and managed to shake Crowley in 4th qtr.
- Lloyd did some clever things. Buddy is worth his money. Jetta, Pyke and McGlynn were also good.
- Goodes should not go outside the forward 50.
- Rohan was not as bad as some were saying. Can't believe some of the comments about him.Comment

It's a massive advantage to Dawks to get a home grand final. A bigger leg up than any academy or COLA.Comment

You would think that with a Friday night game at ANZ in a couple of weeks that there would be no league games played on the surface for at least 5 or 6 days prior so with some luck with the weather permitting it should hold up pretty well! It appeared ok today even considering the amount of rain that's fallen! Bring on the prelim!Comment

I missed the match due to work.
Nonethless , I would like to offer some rigorous , in-depth commentary :
WE ARE IN A HOME PF - YAYYYYY!!!!!Comment

I wouldn't be surprised if he played on next year. He has said that the club has said it's entirely his call.Comment

Joey was tough on himself when his kicking was intercepted for their score. He seemed to be playing better as the game went on.
Benny is the energiser bunny. He took about 20 seconds to get back to being match ready.
Gaz had a shocking start but really worked his way back into the game. You'd be mad to drop him for the PF. I'm guessing it's Laidler or Mitchell for Mal.
I really really hope that's not the last game Mal plays for the Swans. He's such a part of our culture.Comment
