The other player that comes to mind was Curtly Hampton. Seems to be struggling to break into the GWS 22 and strikes me as being quite talented. GWS' issue is that they have had to nurture too many young players at the same time. I reckon his development could be fast-tracked at the Swans.
I think GWS will keep their list pretty much as it is - they will soon have huge batch of players in that 100 - 150 game territory and most will only be 23-24.

They should play finals for sure in 2016 and I think they are a genuine chance of winning the flag in 2017

If it is right that the Swans are talking to Leuenberger then we will be sliding down the ladder. Another Giraffe thats brings nothing else. Tippett and Pyke going well with Sam and Nank developing but Derickx clogging the list, unless traded. Leuey is NOT the player we need. I hope Kinnear and Horse are watching this game now. If we dont change then we will just be a final team and bow out without a whimper. The game is changing but we are wasting our money for Leuey.

I would be very disappointed if we trade him in as I am quite happy with our ruck stocks as they stand

Great post Mug. Pyke and Tom D are most likely to leave the list at the end of 2016.

We can get a new ruckman at the end of next year.

Several journos on SEN stated that all the mail is that Jetta is gone to WCE. Just needs to be signed off.

Watching the games so far...what we lack is a quality small forward.
We haven't really had one for years, but all the teams have one. That's what we need. Rose is our best option,
Look at free and Adelaide...the big blokes don't clunk em, the smart players get it done..

                    Shame Jetta is gone

I think West Coast's late 1st round pick (16-19) would be fair value for both football clubs.

We drafted Jetta at 15 in 2009, recouping that value after 6 seasons of strong service would be a good outcome.

Why don't George Hewett and Harrison Marsh have contracts at this time of the season. I am sure that Harry will get a contract and play 150 games for his club and George has enough quality to play AFL.

We already lost Biggs ... trade Lloydy & Star Wars day won't be the same at the Swans ...

Wouldn't mind Sinclair, he might like the opportunity to get away from Nic Nat and be a first ruckman.

If Jetta is indeed heading to West Coast, a swap involving either Lycett or Sinclair would be great for us. Either would fill our need for a youngish yet somewhat experienced ruckman, and hopefully discourage the notion of throwing huge dollars at either Leuenberger or Kruezer, neither of who can stay on the park for more than a few weeks on the trot.
