He is super quick and a beautiful kick. Was BOG against us in the NEAFL I believe.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

With you there Markus. Curtly would be a perfect fit for us. Ready made defender to bolster our ageing backline and already living in Sydney so not far to relocate.

      Scrap the trade ban!!

scrap the trade ban! Surely if the AFL has any decency left, they would see serious doubts about Buddy's future and lift the trade ban. I would be happy with picking up Hampton.

Maybe we could swap Jets to GWS for Hampton and another??? Perhaps someone unknown like Cameron or Mummy?

            Lol

B@&&@y trade ban makes it all impossible. We can't even bring in a player on equivalent pay as an outgoing player if it's over $350000. How unfair and a restriction of trade

Add him as another to my wish list! Would be a perfect fit and another who has untapped talent that would hopefully flourish in our system. I really hope the club are onto this as he could be very gettable considering him already living in sydney as previously said.

I fear that Jetts is off to the WCE but I must say I like the idea of Hampton but it would need to be a three way trade.

WCE gets Jetta, they trade their first round pick to GWS, GWS give us Hampton plus some trade currency (at least 700 points worth, doesn't matter how it is bundled)

I also like the idea of Talia

i actually would like Rampe and or Hampton (if he came to the Swans) to move thru the midfield half the game like Freeo does with their bigger midfield rotation and or Hodge from the Hawks etc

these two guys have the mobility and could certainly develop the skills needed

Hampton is not close to the $350k trade ban limit. We can get him if we can arrange an acceptable trade and Curtly wants to come to us. I don't know if we have much to offer GWS that they don't already have. I think there may be a fair number of clubs interested in Hampton as well.

Hampton to Explore Trade Options - GWSGIANTS.com.au
The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS have granted defender Curtly Hampton permission to explore trade opportunities.

Hampton played five AFL matches in 2015 to take his career tally to 51 games.

Originally from Alice Springs, Hampton joined the GIANTS as a Northern Territory zone selection in 2010.

The 22-year old is contracted to the GIANTS until the end of 2016, however, the club understands Curtly?s desire to seek greater playing opportunities and will do its best to help facilitate a suitable trade.

The NAB AFL Trade Period commences on Monday 12th October.

Hampton is one guy I'd be interested in getting to the club if we could. Just hasn't had the opportunities at GWS, and would be a really decent fit at our club I think (and likely to soon find a place in our top 22 to call his own).

For mine if Swans want Hampton, then bird is an obvious trade option..

So Hampton and a draft pick or draft pick swap, for Bird....

We get to add depth to our defence and some more draft points.

They get a hardened, premiership player in the age profile they need....mid - late 20's.

I have forgotten about Bird altogether. Isn't that terrible? I wonder how much currency he has? But then again, how much does Hampton have as he can't manage to solidify his place in the GWS squad?

I can see Bird fitting more into GC than GWS, who are well stocked with midfielders and will get 2 more good inside mids this year from the academy. But GC look to be loosing O'Meara and can use some stability inside and let Ablett play forward a bit more rather than getting tagged and scragged all day.

I really don't know how to value Bird on the trading block. Nor Hampton for that matter. Why hasn't he managed to break into the GWS backline even when Buntine went down injured?

PS: Always meant to say how I love your Will Rogers quote.
