so let me get this right?

Strategy is to replace Shaw, Goodes, Mal etc kicking ability but the two kids will not feature in 2016 and they will be lucky to feature in 2017 !

Does that mean in 2016 Draft we are only going for KPPs or trading for them ?

Does that mean we are trading for more players with kicking abilities come 2016 ?

That article tells me that we are working very hard on our foot skills/disposal in the off season.

Here's an amazing and amusing article from Footy Almanac which, despite the author's best intentions, shows the Swans as the winners of the Bang 4 Buck Cup, i.e. the best recruiters of all. And just look who is the best player!

AFL Bang for Buck Cup: Why Hawthorn didn?t really win the 2015 premiership
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I like this final line in the piece:

Sydney has every right to feel aggrieved at the trading sanctions placed on them by the AFL given, if anything, they have had less access to quality youngsters than most / all other clubs.

            Oh my goodness.
On the swans own facebook feed there are people still calling Goodesy a tosser and a wanker.
The haters are always going to hate. They live such unfulfilled lives. Just feel sorry for them.

Say what you like, but don't write it down... one of those old sayings that is probably more relevant today than when it was first penned.
I'm very thankful there was no facebook when I was younger, not that I had anything to hide, but some of those hairstyles and 80s outfits should never see the light of day again.
The kids don't quite realise that it's a virtual permanent record of your life, open to anyone to have a look if they so desired, including your future employers.
Hopefully, he learns from his mistake.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Re Dunkley Junior and the Swans' picks this year. A couple of years ago I heard the Hawthorn List Manager being interviewed on radio who said something like that the Hawks first requirement of any player they drafted was to have good foot skills, no matter what position or other attributes they might have. It seems like this strategy works pretty well for them. I'm sorry about Dunkley, I am a romantic at heart and would have liked to see him in the Swans' colours but we all know that the urgent need for the Swans right now is players who can not only find the ball but actually dispose of it with precision. It does beg the question though, as has already been pointed out, how is the picking of Leo the Lion and Dawson going to help in this area this year. Hopefully, it is going to be a top priority for all the players on our list this pre-season. I for one do not want to watch another reserves match where 21 or so points are kicked and being left thinking, hey, these are players aspiring to make the senior team!

I've no doubt many at the club will have a conversation with the young man and set him on the right path.

I believe the sad part of all this is that Tyrone may have been influenced to think that way by either his peers (friends), or his family growing up. I hope that if Tyrone learns from this episode, those others will learn as well.

Tyrone deserves a chance to redeem himself.

I think he needs to fulfil two progressive steps :

                  1) Set up a Coffee with Adam Goodes and apologise.

                  2) Ask Adam for advice on the best courses he can do to become better educated in Indigenous community matters. Enrol quickly and keep in touch with Adam on how the course is progressing.

People just need to get off their high horse and give the kid a break.

It not like the kid join Aryan Nation or got Nazi tattoos all over him.

                          something smells of hypocracy

So we recruit this kid who sends disgraceful 'likes' for racist/vulgar comments about our legend Adam and the contributors seem to be so forgiving because he is 'young and na?ve'.
Well what a pack of wasters you all are.
I spent a year supporting Adam in every social forum and at most games.
So, this insignificant turkey makes revolting innuendoes and you all seem to jump on the forgiving trail.
Do we therefore forgive the hundreds, probably thousands of weekly ' booers ' at each game??
What , are they all too young and na?ve? There mother should love them too because they didn't mean to be racist wasters???
What a sick pack of turds we have created in My Club!!
Maybe we'll recruit McGuire and Newman to the Board because they'll bring money.
This kid should not have been recruited. The dopes in our recruitment office did not research.
I have wasted my vitriol if you supporters are so forgiving.

I suggest you go and listen to what Adam said shortly after he pointed the finger at a young Collingwood supporter in 2013. Even though he was the subject of racial vilification he came out on Twitter and said: "Just received a phone call from a young girl apologizing for her actions. Let's support her please#racismitstopswithme #IndigenousRound" ? Adam Goodes (@adamroy37) May 25, 2013. He also said: "I just hope that people give the 13 year old girl the same sort of support because she needs it, her family needs it, and the people around them need it. It's not a witch-hunt, I don't want people to go after this young girl. We've just got to help educate society better so it doesn't happen again." McCarthyism is dead. The Salem witch trials are too.

As far as I know, Adam has never responded to the hate and racism directed at him, with the same hate in response. That's why he was an amazing Aust. of the Year. That's why he continues to be an amazing citizen. That is part of the reason he will always be treasured in this club. I love Adam's response. He has always been about forgiveness and education.

Maybe you should follow our great leader's example too?
