Leapin' Leo Barry was the last player we had from Deniliquin and Leo put a lot of pressure on us to take this Deniliquin kid called Sleepin' Sam Murray. We don't know much about him, but Leo says that every time he touches the ball the crowd will call out 'Sam Murray, you star'. The accountants thought it was a good idea.
We were running a bit low in our ruck/model stocks. It's hard to find big good looking guys to stand in the middle of the ground and occupy a lot of space. With Tom Derickxs turning 28 soon, we felt we needed to replenish our depth in that position. Kyle Galloway already has had some success in modeling* and thought he could help Tom out with a few pointers on how to position himself during photo shoots. We are a bit worried about Tom, because looks don't last forever. Hey, I used to look like George Clooney before I took this job.
