My opinion is objective truth in its purest form

But his hair brings him up to 197. Besides, he's very talented and can play any position on the ground. He actually did ruck a fair bit in the reserves this year and did well.

Didn't Goodes win a Brownlow playing mostly as a 194 cm ruckman?

No, they have blatantly changed the rules on the run.

It was a clear requirement that clubs had to take a first round pick in two out of fours years.

Geelong traded their first rounder in 2015 and 2016 to get Dangerfield so they MUST take a first round pick in 2017 and 2018.

But because it suits two Victorian clubs to get the Touhy-Smedts deal done they let Geelong trade their 2017 first rounder for Carlton's 2017 second rounder. Imagine if we got this concession, three chins would be whining and carrying on. I can't understand why this hasn't been picked up on in the media, it is a clear bending of the rules on the run.

I can't see the AFL letting the JOM to Hawthorn fall over. Apparently they are organizing mediation between the Suns and Hawks. I think the Hawks will get their man.

That was way back at the start of this successful period for the Swans. Now we are the "powerhouse" that gets poached.

This drafting period is just nuts.
Do we have any players left?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

We really should take advantage of a few teams today who are desperate to get picks/deals done to snag a few bargains

I know I'll get shouted down but Marley Williams from the pies is going cheap, running half back flanker with speed and skill. Can we shake something out of the Hawks (need picks), Pies (need picks) or the Giants (cap space)?

As much as I would like to have O'Meara, I can't see it happening. Tippett is contracted so we would have to pay some of his wage for the next couple of years, plus the money we would be paying O'Meara, surely that would see us over the salary cap.
I bet the AFL would go over the contracts and fine some way of not letting it happen.

Don't know. Does Marley pass the d**khead filter?

Peter Ryan reports: The Sydney Swans are keen to get their hands on Hawthorn?s pick 10 and we understand they have entered negotiations which may assist the Hawks to build collateral to get Jaeger O?Meara.

                            Why???

                            We are getting shafted again!

                            What the differences between 10 and 14 & 17???

                            Two good players vs one!

I fear Harley yet again is being taken to the cleaners; he need to be sack ASAP!

I hope 14 and 17 for 10 isn't the complete deal. I think we might be getting one of the Hawks players, who may be more willing to come to us than to the Suns.

Perhaps the Swans have identified a player they want in the draft (not at the Hawks, unless it's Isaac Smith)? And it sounds like other picks will be involved.
