Wow.
What a nasty piece of work this fella is. I really don't think he's over losing Tipoff. Sour grapes, much?
Get over it son. He's ours now.
If you're going to put someone down, at least try to be funny about it.
Tool. Of the highest order.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun. Blessedare the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

They are petty over here! I still have people who used to wish me well with the Swans, who refuse to now based solely on Tippett. Miserable state!
The interview with Beatson on the Swans website seems to indicate that we won't be involved with free agency or trading players in. He said he and Harley are off to Melbourne tomorrow. Maybe they will meet Michell's manager there to discuss a deal, as there seems no news about developments thus far on this front.
Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.

God speed Kinnear and Tom.

So not anticipating bringing anyone in which really isn't a surprise given where our list is at.
We'll just go to the draft with the picks we have or if a player or two moves on like Towers, Nankivell, we'll have better draft picks this year or more picks next year. Can't see us taking more than three picks to the ND given we need to do some upgrades and only Ted a confirmed out.
Still think Mitchell will re-sign but in the event he does go then we will get very good pick/picks in return, he won't be going for peanuts despite what some Hawks posters on BF claim!

I heard Benny was retiring.

If we are not trading anyone in this year then I can only suggest there a 2 issues. CAP squeeze or holding station until next year.
To improve your list/position you do have to move the pieces.
See whats available for trading Deano and Harry and maybe for next year picks.
We probably do have a Cap squeeze, but the way I see it is that we already have a very good list. We run a lot deeper than most analysts suspect. We've been losing decent players like Membrey and Biggs because we can't find places for them in the senior side. If all goes well on the injury front, particularly with Reid, Talia and AJ, we will have plenty of senior worthy players running around in the ressies next year, with or without Mitchell on our list.
We won't be trading in players because we have several rookies that want to be upgraded. We have already committed to upgrading Papley and Newman with both Foote and Marsh having strong cases. Every player we sign from the outside means one less spot on the senior list for deserving rookies, or one less draft pick. There's no one on the market anyway that would improve our list, other than players we can't afford, e.g. if we could afford O'Meara then we would have enough money to re-sign Mitchell.
If Richmond are willing to part with their 2017 2nd round pick for Nankervis, I would do the trade. With Tippett. Naismith and Sinclair all contracted for at least the next 2 years, Nankervis will need injuries to get senior games. I would prefer getting another good draft pick and try to draft Tony Olango this year. He might be available with our pick 53 since he's seen as a project player, but would try to improve that pick into the 40s just to be safe.
As we know ......Every season is a small step within the 3 to 5 year plans
I could not be happier with the stable of of players we have right now and with in the Constraints of a sal cap and aspiring teams ready to pay more for talent
