The Riverina zone, where players have access to established pathways to the AFL (i.e. the part covered by the Murray Bushrangers) should go asap in my opinion. But the rest of their zone should stay = the academies should be all about expanding the player pool, by providing an additional pathway into the AFL where one does not exist as it is now.
Changes for the Grand Final.

Back on topic, I thought that I would be calling for Zac Jones to be out, but I think that he has eliminated some of the weakness from the game (giving away free kicks) and improved his strengths.
Cordy thinks AA is still pretty crook and that horse will be reluctant to pick the injured first year players, but if he does, Mills is more likely. Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.Comment

Are we there yet?
This week is dragging so slowly.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Don't care (well really I do) who the umpires are, just so long as they don't fall for the Dogs playing for high tackles. McLean would be the worst offender and has perfected the buckling knees as the tackle is applied. We must be vigilant to this, so must the umpires.Comment

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

His interpretations of the rules are way off mark. He's losin' it.
I'm glad the AFL are punishing him by not picking him.

As expected, everyone is going for the Dogs and a Cinderella story. Every non Swans supporter is barracking for the Dogs! All the tipsters in the media are right behind the Dogs - Alistair Clarkson, Mark Ricciuto, Tim Watson, Wayne Carey, Luke Darcy (as expected!)... and the list goes on. Going down to the MCG for the first time, I really hope the Swans can show the world what we are made of. We won't be taking the Dogs lightly and we just have to bring the intensity from the first bounce.
Just like the game against Geelong, I'm already (and it's just Tuesday!) feeling nervous, excited, worried at the same time. I'll enjoy every minute of it I'm sure but won't really breathe until the final siren is blow (and hopefully) the Swans are premiers for 2016.Comment
