Changes for the Grand Final.

Mills looked fit enough in the footage on the news, though it wasn't in anyway an extensive workout. Would love to see him play, because he's so assured and his quick decision making means that our rebounding is even prettier to watch.Comment

Curious line , that , about Frankie kicking a mine on the day of the Moon landing.
Both events happened in July - so even if he had not stepped on the mine , he would still have had almost a year left to serve.
Redgum's implication that he had almost got through unscathed was wrong.Comment

I saw only the highlights of the Bulldogs vs GWS game, but the speed was terrifying. I'm no longer sure that playing as well as we did against Geelong will be enough. Consequently, McVeigh's pace does worry me a bit. If he plays then his tackles have to stick - we need to kill the ball before they get it moving cleanly.
I trust McVeigh to determine whether he is fit though. He is definitely in our best 22 in my view.Comment

We've won a lot without him and his last grand final was a shocker. I see no evidence that his leadership helps us on the field. He was good. He's now ok. He's not suited to this game on Saturday.Comment

Have only just heard the news about McVeigh (nothing mentioned on 360, but don't know why I'm surprised at that). In reality, players have been running off McVeigh all year, but in the second half of the year, he's more than countered that with the quality of his possession.Comment

If Mills is fit....
Out : Aliir Aliir
In : Mills
BTW...I can't believe people here are suggesting Hewitt be dropped...
He's a lock, does countless selfless acts and wins many more contests than he looses.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

I thought I must have missed something from the media reports of the brilliant Dogs game so I went back and had a look at both them and us last night. We were clinical and near perfect in the first quarter last week. The Dogs and GWS were all over the place - and neither was defending well against the other so it was just turnover after turnover. It was an exciting game by the Dogs but it wasn't a good game - both teams seemed to have a lot of nerves and made a lot of errors. If both teams play as they did last week we will win.Comment

Mills is fit according to Stewie Dew so at 6.20pm tonight that's McVeigh and Mills in, Aliir and Marsh out.
Agree with others about the Dogs Prelim, it's been talked up as a great game but only the closeness of the scores made it great. Generally it was a poor standard game, albeit due to pressure. Reminded me of the talked up Hawks/Cats game that had the after siren drama but I thought was a poor standard and our Prelim confirmed that fact.
Can't see a repeat of 2014, we should and must win this one.Comment

Went to watch the GWS v DOGS game to see what we were going to up against .
It was of exciting because it remained a close contest.
I watched it trying to imagine what the Swans would have done in that contest and that scenario.
I came away feeling pretty good about the Grand Final .
Just forget all the hype boys , you can do this with Your intensity , pressure and footy smarts .Comment

Being a footy fan is a weird exercise. You pin your hopes to how much another person (who you don't actually know) wants
something, and their abilities to execute under pressure. If I was a list manager I would just try and draft and trade in the
22 most driven sociopaths with at least a reasonable skill level and a durable body I could find.Comment

Are we there yet?Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Alistair Clarkson - is that you? Done good on accumulating those sociopaths, mate. But did you have to extend it to the fanbase, too?Comment
