Losing 2014 the way we did hurt far too much. Winning this year would make up for it but I think we've had our share of fairytales for a while.

Results going every which way. Port has a huge % but hasn't beaten a top 8 side, Richmond keep on hanging in there, West Coast contender or not? Dogs look shaky, GWS/Cats draw is a nice result.

We are the form side at present, just need to keep it going. Gold Coast won't be easy next week, they have real pace and take the game on but we just have to beat them, and GWS and ....

The guys look hungry and in form, anything is possible, hang on for the ride.

Essendon and Dogs losing is huge, gives us a bit of breathing space

Certainly enjoyed the last quarter of the Lions game. It makes our spot in the eight slightly more secure. Now go the Dockers.

Good results for us today, so pleased for Brisbane beating a finals contender in Melbourne (city not team), Hawks beating Collingwood also useful for our cause, albeit Pies were a very long shot.

Just hope Freo minus Sandilands can beat Saints, even at half time.

AFL must be stoked with this season.

Saints crawl over the line, Swans sit precariously in ninth!

St.Kilda vs Richmond, WCE vs Port, Melb vs Carlton are finals shaping matches next week.

As is Swans vs Gold Coast, we are $1.11 ish favourites but Gold Coast have some weapons, we'll need to play well and hope that other results continue to fall our way. Fascinating season.

Almost disappointing. After all that hard work we still aren't in the 8.

Yeah, if we win next week we'll draw level with between 1 and 3 of the teams above us.

We've never lost to GC and the smallest margin to date was 35. I guess they can say there has to be a first time and we can say history is on our side

Essendon's unexpected loss was good for us.

Essendon are a win behind us and have worse percentage. But they had a easier run in; Adelaide and St Kilda are the only top eight sides they play for the rest of the season. And seven of their eight games are in Melbourne.

They could still make the finals. But would need to win a few back to back games.

We've been climbing the ladder an average of one place a week since round 7. Not far to go now.

I don't mind that so much. Especially since we are just at 50% win / loss. It certainly means we can't rest on our laurels.

Still, I thought Freo would knock over the Saints - and the Hawks (along with just about everyone else) are still coming.
