Eagles need to win this quarter by 2 goals, possibly a point more if there are high number of goals kicked

I keep picturing you sitting all alone at the footy.Comment

My observation is that you have a bugbear (eg ANZ, Macca, non-Vic teams not getting home finals, Grand Finals being played at the MCG) and you repeat your often caustic posts ad nausea. No offence, but to me it's a wee bit tiresome. I'm sure others here enjoy it, so, I guess keep it up for their entertainment. I mostly ignore your trolling rants, but some times I find I can't let them slip by. I'll try harder next time.
barry, I seem to recall you reporting someone for similar comments. And what's more you've made the same comment repeatedly about various other RWO members "sitting alone".
No offence but I think all the people you are imagining sitting alone at the footy seem more friendly, less grumpy, less offensive and less stuck in their ways.
So, if you don't mind I'll go sit with all of them, and leave you so sit with your friends at the grand old lady. Hope you don't get cold with all your "friends"

And so the final game at Subiaco, finishes in a way that fittingly encapsulates its history: West Coast winning the frees, 23-12.Comment

Childish comment to begin with, but good for the Lols now.
Anyhoo...
Good finals draw for us. I think our best stream to the finals is to hope GWS beat Adelaide so we get to play prelim in Sydney.

Home town umpiring must be so statistically obvious across so many games, I can't see how the AFL can ignore it!Comment

As I predicted over two months ago, eighth place came down to 12 wins and a good percentage. What I did not expect was that the team to miss out on percentage was Melbourne. Two months ago, after round 15 (immediately after we beat them), their percentage was a very healthy 110.8, comfortably ahead of West Coast (102.9) and Essendon (101.8), and ahead of Sydney (108.0). Their form has fallen away noticeably in the past two months, while West Coast have played well at home, and Essendon have taken advantage of their soft post-spoon fixture.
I also did not expect Sydney to beat GWS, Adelaide and Geelong away. The Swans have well and truly earned their spot. We just need four more wins.
Week 1: Essendon at home. Could be tricky.
Week 2: Loser of Geelong and Richmond away. Geelong can beat Richmond, but it will be at Richmond's home ground (an injustice IMO). Geelong are in good form, so I expect the Tigers to be the second-week opponents.
Week 3: Winner of Adelaide and GWS away. It will probably be Adelaide because the form of GWS is patchy.
Week 4: If we get this far, bring it on!"Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment
