Cheers ROK. I have toiled away here for years and still haven't got to your post total.

I am coming back off a 50 month ban. Pretty sure BBB went to Footscray, not sure about Big Al and Connelly married BonBon and went to PNG to look after NobNob.

Welcome back. There's hope for Matt80, who you may or may not have heard of and who is also banned. Hopefully you won't get yourself banned again.

I like the Roos loyalty. The Dees fans that celebrate his departure, and give all the credit to their recent success to Goodwin, irk me.

Roosy is off to fix up the Suns for $2.5 million/year.

Welcome back ROK. Missed your insight.
Roosey was coaching from the commentary box on Saturday. Does that help?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I guess if Longmire was watching the game on TV it would help a lot.

Was Matt80 formerly Matt79. I once knew a Matt79 who may have become Matt80 over time.

This place seems a little quieter than it once did. Seem to be less spelling mistakes and grammatical errors too. Maybe NMWBloods should come back...

No, both Matts were around at one point. I think Matt79 is still about.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

Had a fantastic morning watching John Longmire work with our Year 9 & 10 team. His patience, advice and direction are amazing. Such a professional.

Horse was at Newington? My old school - but a lot of new buildings since then, it seems.

Aust football has been played at the school since before WW2 but this is the first year it has been part of the official sports program. At this stage we only have one team on the senior campus and one team on the Junior campus. We have played 6 rounds so far winning all our games except against St Alloyius last week losing by two points in a great game.
It was very popular as a sports choice and the squad had to be weened down from over a 60 candidates to 25.

Other than sometimes struggling to keep his love of Hawthorn in check, I find that Ashley Browne is generally an astute observer of footy. With that in mind, I thought I would leave his comments regarding the Swans coaching here. Posted last night on the AFL website, After the Siren article.

"But while the spotlight will be about the Bombers and the number of errors they made in the final few minutes, the takeaway should also be about how well the Swans played the last few minutes. Heath Grundy and Callum Mills made some enormous defensive plays and player after player made the correct decision during those same frantic contests."

It's what you get with a mature group that is never out if the game and is a product of one of the best coaching set-ups in the AFL. John Longmire looked as though he couldn't believe what he saw, but in fact, he shouldn't have been too surprised. He has engineered the Swans to finish the game as they did.
