Ho hum - he we go.

Longmire can't coach, has no plan, doesn't make moves.

Look at the game, we were in it, got to the lead. Despite the fact we were on the back foot from before the game.

Also, what has happened for the last 7 weeks, we were and still are the best performing team since round seven.

The cattle on the park today were simply out played by a better team.

Funny this thread has kicked again. Almost like the last 9 weeks have been causing frustration as there hasn't been an opportunity to vent.

Wouldn't hurt to take an objective look at what Longmire has achieved both to date and this year after the 0-6 start.

We lost two very important structural players before the game and had two more laid low during the game.

Longmire will be coach for a long time yet.
He ate more cheese, than time allowed

Very good coach. Just poor selection imo

And by nowhere near as good you mean he's a 1 goal a game poorer coach this season? Which could be made up for by 1 more favourable umpiring decision.

Honestly! It's a wonder he doesn't walk like Quasimodo with half of RWO on his back whenever we drop a game

OR - the players on the field actually kick goals

No I mean Clarkson 4 GF wins from 5. Longmire 1 GF win from 3.

All 4 Grand Finals played on Hawks home ground. 3 played on Hawks home ground despite Freo, Swans and Eagles finishing on top of the ladder and winning their Qualifying final. In Eagles case, they beat Hawks in qualifying final as well but had to travel across the country to play Hawks. Farcical system for national comp. The Victorian National Football League. Results could easily have been different if top team got to play on home ground, especially in 2013 and 2015. Not saying he isn't a good coach but venue is laughable in terms of fairness.

I agree with this. Not enough is made of this fact... and they say the Swans have lots of advantages over the years.

Never enters the consciousness down here in Victoria despite how glaring it is.

Agree. The Victorian conciousness is naturally anti Sydney and coupled with a deep down resentment to the 'national' league and anything non Victorian.....and the AFL know it and hide behind it......smugly.

Spot on Stevo. Consciousness stops well before it hits the Victorian border. It has echoes of the old VFL when most of the best interstate players came to Melbourne. We would pick them in our state team and thump their original state eg WA by 20 goals. Centre of the universe down here for many people.
