Blakey will be one addition but he’s more likely to be playing NEAFL than 1s.

All in all, we will be very thin in this department and so if we can pay unders for a talent like Darcy Moore, I think it’s a risk worth taking.
Don't forget Naismith, although there are those on RWO who think he's a dinosaur, if he comes back and plays main ruck, Sinkers could take McCartin's place. And AJ has just returned, so he'd potentially be a KPD replacement - out Tippo / Reg, in AJ / Naismith (that is assuming he's ready to play next year).

I don't think we'll get Moore out of the Pies by paying unders. Generally the opposite happens. And the Pies will do everything they can to keep him. He's not going to come cheap.

Moore would be so good at filling the "Always Injured never plays" role when Reid retires.

Depends if pies get lynch from sun's. If so, they will be under cap pressure and have to offload someone.

I think Mayne would be higher on the list of offloads than Father-Son Darcy Moore

Mayne with two years @$500k to go on his contract, nice one Pies. Don't forget Wells has another year on the sidelines at $600k? :-)

Maybe the thinking is with both Reid and Moore on the list, we can just work hard to time their injuries, so that at least one of them is close to being on the park most of the time

Anyone interested in Andrew Gaff? I hear he's going cheap.

With Tippett retired we are looking very thin for this type of player. AJ is back at AFL level and all it takes is for Reid to have an unbroken run and we will have no-one who is really good at that rehab role. Ling is showing potential, but it's too early to say whether he will really develop into that type of player.

The other question is who can have that breakout crazy injury that throws a huge spanner in the season. So far Rampe & Mills have done well for the past two years, but I don't think we can necessarily count on them reproducing that form. Heeney had a go with glandular but I think our best chance is probably someone like Florent with broken bones from a tree branch falling on him while out running.

                      Banned just for suggesting this!

                        A classic lose-lose trade....

How about we just offload Reid to a desperate club, like Carlton, get a decent pick and move on with the extra cap space.

I'm also in favour of moving Hannebery on. Gut running was his weapon... He's on big coin, but his best looks behind him...

We could do with a new gut running mid, preferably one who can hit a target.

Andrew Gaff fits that description perfectly!

StKilda to table a 5 year contract to Hanners?

What would st kilda have that we would want. Considering hanners is contracted?
