That rare air up in the Members Level of ANZ seems to have had a lasting impact...
I actually agree with you in regards to the Grand Final, but am pragmatic enough to know no matter how much whining one does, its not going to change anything any time soon.

Frankly I have better things to worry about.... but it does seem to be a slow process!"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Aaron vandenBerg’s love for coach Simon Goodwin has him agonising over a decision to leave the club after being offered a multi-year deal at the Swans.
The powerful Melbourne half forward is being aggressively pursued by the Swans, who have offered him a pay rise and a deal that could extend to three years.
A move north makes sense on every level for the former Ainslie midfielder because of his family situation and the death of his father Tony this year.
But what should be a simple decision is complicated by his desire to play under third-year coach Goodwin and remain with his mates at Melbourne.
It means Melbourne and Sydney, who have both offered multi-year deals, might have to wait until next week for a decision.
“He is trying to make a decision between the place he loves and the people he loves,” manager Ryan Kogelman told the Herald Sun.
“He has to weigh up both offers. Money won’t be his primary decision but it’s more about if he can make it work if he stays in Melbourne to have more family time. If he goes, he is surrounded by family. That’s the primary issue,” Kogelman said.Comment

Talking about deals I see Josh Kennedy was seen talking to Fremantle officials today. Hopefully just to discuss Harley Bennell. Personally the only way Bennell might be any good, is if Micky O coaches him like he did in his junior days.

Matthew Ling's highlight reel - sydneyswans.com.au
Ryley Stoddart's highlight reel - sydneyswans.com.au
These two boys havethe sizzle
They are just earning their way via injuries and key outcomes expected in defence and attack
They could be fairly decent footballers for many years for the Swans off HBF and the Wing
Combined they could be deadly down the left
Just a bit early in 2018
But like lloyd etc need to fill out and find their way thru our system to be accountable and like their natural game dangerous in attack"be tough, only when it gets tough"

What about this:
13 for Langdon + 49
31, 36 + 49 = pick 10. With 20% discount this would cover Blakey up to a bid at pick 6. So should be enough for Blakey.
Saints 2019 2nd rounder for Clarke + 40.
That leaves pick 40 for a kid in the draft, 67 for Vandenberg and 85 for Duryea.
For the record I dont think we would go for both Langdon and Finlayson. Would have to be one or the other.
If Langdon falls through we simply go to the same as above but:
13 = best kid available in the draft
40 = Finlayson.
Or
13 for Scully but ask GWS for pick 24 back.Comment

I think Vandenberg will go for more than pick 67, if he goes. There's talk of us turning our 13 into 20 + 22 with WCE or similar with Carlton to help them trade Kelly / McGovern.
One of those might be appropriate for Langdon and something in the 30s for VandenbergComment

The Age reporting Rohan will be traded tomorrow 'for a low draft pick' (they've got 50, 59 and 61) and St Kilda will open talks re Hanners now Shiel is lost. Demon Tyson keen on move to North.Comment

Maybe because he played so little footy and was injured for most of the year. Even when he was out there he wasn't right. the club admitted as much.Comment

The Age today:
If Geelong want pick 13 for kelly
We can 3 way swap
Gives 400 more pts
Ie
Kelly to west coast
Rohan to cats
Cats get pick 13
We get picks 20 and pick 22 from west coast and maybe even a late draft pick 50 from cats ?

“The Eagles are considering how to use their first two picks - 20 and 22 - to secure Geelong's Tim Kelly, having received pick 20 as compensation for losing ruckman Scott Lycett after deciding not to match Port Adelaide's offer for the premiership player.
West Coast believe those two picks are a fair exchange for Kelly but they might have to bundle those picks in a trade to move up the draft order as the Cats endeavour to gain a high selection for the runner-up in their best and fairest.
