    From the AFL website

GREATER Western Sydney is eyeing Melbourne's No.2 draft pick as it tries to trade in a selection before another club bids on the Giants' Academy hotshot Tom Green. Industry sources believe Adelaide (pick three) or Sydney (four) is certain to place a bid on Green, meaning the Demons' selection would be required to avoid that scenario.

    I like it!

Be interesting to see the pick swaps unfold as clubs shuffle picks to get the best advantage. GWS will be trading out yet again to stock up on some picks to pay for Green if they trade out their pick 11 & 13 (currently) for pick 2 from Melbourne.

Wouldn't be surprised to see us either package up later picks to move up this year or convert them into 2020 picks.

      Morning all

Does anyone have the link for draft pick value table ?

Ie what is pick 4 worth vs pick 11 and pick 13 ?

I’d love to start seeing our pts value total etc ?

Agree - if we only need 3 picks total?

could we bundle up 40,50,57,58,76 for say pick 20 or 25 ?

      Then have picks 4,20,23 ?

      SYD 4 Sydney Swans
      SYD 23 Sydney Swans
      SYD 40 Sydney Swans
      SYD 50 Sydney Swans
      SYD 57 Sydney Swans
      SYD 58 Sydney Swans
      SYD 76 Sydney Swans

More than held his own as a defensive mid, id say he is contracted too as i doubt he left for one year.
Could end up being one of the inside mids we are after
NEAFL is second rate but no one else grabbed it 47times playing there
He could possibly end up an inside mid, but all the evidence suggests otherwise.
Clarke's best games have been against outside mids (starting with Higgins in round #14), NOT inside mids.
Also the weakest part of his game is handballing under pressure - not a weakness to have when playing on the inside.
Probably why the MC always goes to George if the want someone to sit on one of the oppositions inside mids.

Betts heading back to Carlton apparently. That means they've given up on chasing Papley ????

We can't draft Errol Gulden until after next year, is that correct?

Yes, too young for this draft.

It will be interesting to see how he goes on Saturday against Sydney Uni. Will he spend much time in the midfield? Will he further his reputation?

I'm also wondering how much attention our recruiters will be paying to Jake Bartholomaeus? A former academy member, who in his second season at Sydney Uni, won the NEAFL MVP. Might earn himself a rookie list spot, if he does really well?

                      Thanks for that

So pick 4 = approx picks 17 and 18 combined or 16 and 19 combined etc

                      Hmmmmm

Or if we needed picks 11 and 13 for some important trades and we needed to split our pick 4

We would have to trade with GWS and if they need to trade up to say our pick 4 then we would need to give up pick 4, 40, 58 in exchange for pick 11 and 13 from them

                          GWS in a tricky spot.
At best they get Green and next pick is 3rd round.
I know they bid on Blakey and we bid on someone the year bwfore i think but i doubt we will bid on him at 4.
We need to be somewhat nice for next years 2 academy picks
If you are going to pick someone at 4 you dont make out like you wanted someone else first

Understand where your coming from but he is 22 23 and to get it 47 times means you had to be playing inside a bit. Harry Cs best footy was as a tagger, 7 yrs later he is still on the list
