PAPS - will happen for pick 9 plus we hand over a very late pick

DANIHER - I think will happen for pick 5 and 9 and Essendon hand over their second round pick this year and second round pick 2020. This works for us and works for their hard line stance

My reasoning is because for the simple fact KB doesnt rate this draft and it helps us massively with our two academy midfielders next year if they are both top 30 picks plus we are still active this draft where KB indicated there was good value and we have a key forward turning 33 in a few months and we need more power up front ASAP

I dont think these trades are fair

We need to keep pick 5. It could be very valuable if GWS can't make a deal to trade up to pick 3. Could even do a deal on draft night.

Carlton need our pick 25 to get Martin, so we trade Papley + 25 for Pick 9 and 2020 2nd rounder. Maybe some round 3 picks involved as well.

We give Essendon pick 9+ 2020 1st rounder for Daniher and pick 33. That's roughly giving picks 9 + 20 for Daniher.

That's great news. As someone posted earlier, the recruitment of star players, no matter how much was given up to get them, should not be judged by the number of flags.

Likewise, our non recruitment of star players due to us not giving in to the demands of their club, should NOT be judged on what they subsequently do.
