Glad we stuck strong on Paps and Daniher.

Happy we replaced Jones with a decent (and quick) player.

It was a great study on the amount of crap the AFL media can go on with. Interestingly the Swans camp stayed pretty mum throughout. I know who I'd choose to listen to.

Barrett, McClure and Co. sounding like they haven't reaslised the telephone has been invented and personal meetings in coffee shops are not the only way to communicate these days. It's absurd to think that the initiation of discussions with Joe came from that meeting in Sydney.

I thought he did alright. Although, I think it's convenient Essendon said they wouldn't accept 5 and 9, because I don't think we'd have offered it.

I had to laugh - or perhaps vomit - with every mention (& it was often) of the value that Barrett placed on the Daniher “name” at Essendon. As if it had trade value.

The flog seemed to forget (or more likely had no football knowledge) that the first 3 Danihers started with the Swans. And that Tom Papley hails from 2 former Swan grandfathers
