Jack Bartholomeaus has been wearing #47 for our VFL team this season. I think he will need a new number now.

2021 - 47 goals
2022 - 53 goals
2023 - 22 goals so far
Yes Naughton would be the guy we should give an offer he and the Bulldogs can’t refuse
But so will everyone else
I would not be surprised if we are after Ugle Hagan while the Bulldogs are getting hammered to match deals for English and Naughton
They all come out of contract 2024 end of season
One will have to go
Bloody hell if we had to keep letting go of Hewett, Dawso and AA due to better offers vs cap then so will the Dogs massively
U would have to say Ugle Hagan would be 3rd in line for a massive pay day at the Dogs"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Would u do large 9 years contract for Ugle?
If not it will take something just as creative with another player but probably more $ and a significant trade

Ugle-Hagan is going to be a better player than Naughton. He's tracking wonderfully. I'm not sure about the dollars above though - appreciating that's what it would likely take.
My interest in Naughton would be as a defender. He'd be AA down there intercepting everything with his marking skills.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

Some pics of Buller & Arnold at their first training run are up on the Swans website. Both big units.
I see Buller wears blacks boots, so he isn't lacking in confidence. I'd keeping to something more modest like Heeney's pair until I had proved myself ;-)
Also, Amartey & Rampe are back in training. Perhaps they have been for a while and I just missed it.Comment

Logan McDonald is becoming a gun key forward. I don't think we need another headliner for our forward line. If we can only keep Amartey on the field and if McLean continues on his notable improvement, our forward line should be okay.
Harry Himmelberg is still the main target this year, and might just be enough, depending how we go on the injury front with other KPPs.
If we did chase Naughton, I would look to play him as a key defender. He would be a great intercept mark.
It's going to be hard planning our KPP requirements until the end of the season,There's o much uncertainty with so many players. Himmelberg is a definite yes, and we might just have to wait on the rest.Comment

I know the glamour key-forward appeals to many, but I can't help noticing the number of premierships we actually won with those two.
For me, I've seen an awful lot of marque key forwards, 100 goal seasons etc. - but I enjoyed actually winning a flag far, far more than all that fluff.Comment
