    Big wrap from Schofield.

It is really pleasant to have so many RWOers be pleased with the draft selections and not wonder what the hell are they doing?!!?!

Couldn’t agree more, I reckon just having there energy at training will benefit the boys and not to mention help add structure to the reserves

well done to recruiters. I have been critical of them in the past for selecting small tde players and cast offs. we didnt this trime , they fil a need particularly arnold.

Schofield also noted he was "a little wayward with his kicking but he was just such a huge influence" - so he wasn't just pumping up the kids tyres.

I’m going to go early Buller will be the standout of this mid season crop . Only knock would be his kicking style is a little bit awkward but he does get good penetration . Just the type of forward we need to complement McDonald for the future .
Arnold looks very likely as well, looks an upgrade on Francis

Let’s not ahead of ourselves. Fingers crossed they deliver on their potential. There’s no guarantees.

                          Happy to be proven wrong.

I'm equally rapt. Just what we needed. Happily Buller still there with the last pick. Otherwise I was interested in Ryan that Hawthorn took. It's quite possible that we got players who were rated 2 and 3 on our draft board (I'm assuming Maric was #1).

I reckon the Giants were hoping for Robert Hanson and Clay Tucker but both were gone before their first pick.

for sure there is a reason why they are mid season draft players

but either way they are helpful sized players that at the very least create competition and big bodies for our current best 22 to practice against

Training at the moment we are no doubt struggling to create a best practice environment for our talls at either end of the field

No Tom, Paddy, Reid, Rampe etc

The upside could be the they develop over time and may feature in the best 22 like a McClean has done to when required

Imagine the RWO community happy after a draft period - who would have thought of such a thing? My family has contacts to the Claremont community and testify to Buller's off-field bona fides (for what that's worth). Good luck to both of them.
