Is that Troy Warner? Interestingly it was reported on The Midweek Tackle this week that his parents reckon Troy is going to be the best out of his brothers! Apparently he is tearing it up at U15 level?Comment

I'm guessing that Troy Warner is the fourth brother. Ashton Warner is the other brother and he's currently in his draft year. However, I don't think he made the WA team this year and I can't recall him being talked up in any draft rankings. He's listed at 66kg, so perhaps he's considered a bit too small for the AFL?

Interesting interview with Luke Parker on SEN this morning... it was as if he said that he is going to go to the Kangas.. without actually saying it. Whatever he decides to do I wish him the best of luck. Terrific person and player. I hope he doesn't go though

I think it will be immensely sad if Luke a fabric player and champion of our club, who emphasizes the Bloods culture, finishes his career elsewhere. I'll be surprised if hasn't already had private discussions with Longmire and has gotten early hint that he might not be an automatic selection next year or that they cannot guarantee him a contract extension, when Norf might be trying to sniff him out with a 2 year contract.
He is currently in our best 22 at full strength playing finals, so who would be possibly push him out other than Adams? Do they maybe want to give further opportunities to Cleary and Sheldrick? Need to also take into consideration injury list is always present (we had relative good fortune this year). If we do end up winning flag, will that sway him more to leave on a high? I also hope he stays and finishes up with us.Comment

I wasn't paying that much attention to the TV while making breakfast, but I think Tony Armstrong said that Bailey Smith was likely to go to Geelong, because he has business interests in the area and is already a Cotton On brand ambassador. One day, I'd love to see some facts and figures on out of cap payments, but I suspect that's not high on the list of AFL priorities.Comment

Might depend on whether we offload Ladhams' salary, and only replace with a rookie/low salaried player. We might still be chasing a KPD in trade too (not sure who would be available, Barrass is going ot the Hawks) which also needs dollars. So overall, it is not looking good for us retaining Parker in my view.Comment

Trade out Mills.
He performance in the QF was a diaster.
Have a look at the replay; time and time again making the worst options.
He is Longmire pet but how he keep he spot in the team is beyond me.doof-doofComment

He went into the game with gastric. Might explain his performance. Same with Amartey. Rolled his ankle & wasn’t going to play. Watch Longmire’s press conference.Comment

Commentators suggesting Stringer, saying 42 goals for them this year, would translate to 50 goals for us with 9 games at the SCG. Our tall forwards don't kick a lot of goals, so on paper, it sounds like a good option for us. However, we have some salary cap pressure after re-signing five key players this year, and Warner next year.Comment

We need a lot of dollars for 2026 onwards, for Chad Warner's signature, as other clubs will come hard at him. So sadly, this means the club and Parker might be too far apart in terms of how much he would be paid to play on with us in 2026 (and 2027).

This one may be more player though as he can see the opportunities drying up after experiencing it this year.
We have our number 1 fwd Wicks to playComment
