This latest Fox Sport phantom draft has us taking Jack Whitlock & Cooper Hynes with our first round picks

Remains unpredictable who will select tonight such is the eveness of the draft & not knowing our strategy. Expecting the unexpected but hoping there are no regrets when we look back in a few years time.

And the Rookie Me phantom draft has us taking Trainor and Hynes.

Though of the options so far, I prefer the often more accurate Twomey option of Faull and Hannaford. So it'd be nice if he was correct. But I'm feeling reasonably comfortable that we'll get a couple of decent players, as the opinion seems to be that there's plenty of depth in this draft and that there’s not much separating the top dozen or so key position prospects.

Jonty Faull just got taken around ten places earlier than most pundits were expecting. Shame, I was hoping he'd be there at our pick.

Really happy with the Dattoli pick. Still plenty of good talls to take on the next pick.

Which seems fair enough, as one of the Whitlock twins, Armstrong or Shanahan will be there at our next pick. And on his highlights reel, Dattoli and Papley in the same forward line should be fun to watch. That being said, I will be a bit disappointed if we don't take a key position player with our next pick.

We probably should place a bid on Marshall, as well. I think Brisbane are already getting a bargain.

Dattoli looks Heeney-esque from the highlights on the AFL website! Looks like a decent pickup and an exciting player

Bit of a surprise with Ned Bowman, but he does have a very strong skill set. Just that I was more keen on a KPF, rather than someone who's more of an outside player. But hey, maybe there'll be a decent KPF still there at our next pick.

Bowman looks a good player. Not picking a KPP here shows confidence that we think we have the coverage with Snell and Edwards as well as the potential Cochran. I would guess that we would take a tall at pick 40.
