Yes, I got the impression that Dattoli largely thinks of himself as a midfielder, who's had to slum it for a while as a small forward. So it'll be interesting to see how that develops. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing him do the Papley mix of mainly forward, with the occasional centre bounce.
I thought Dattoli's highlights were pretty impressive. Looks more of a midfielder to me. Nothing like the build of Konstanty and can take a mark. Looks like he has a lot of footy nous. Every year people either think players are going to be stars in their first year or they are duds. I bet Richmond don't think all their first round picks will be stars or will get a game in their first year.Comment

well that just happened
i mean they got Chad late and he is now a gun
maybe for these two boys ?
Chad's video for draft night looked pretty boring"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Looking at a lot of footage of Dattoli, the ability to read play to identify leading lanes and timing, as well as his sticky hands, seems very impressive. Not just coming from the goal line, but coming back into or across the f50.
I hate myself using this comparison given everything else that comes with his game, but it’s a bit like Cody Weightman - who does that very well.Comment

KPPs are dropping quickly, with Sims, Shanahan, Barrett and Whitlock gone already. Richmond might have overindulged, with three KPFs and a KPD. They do still have some on their list, don't they?Comment

And we've taken mature aged, outside runner Riley Bice. Looks to be a very good kick.

Surprised we didn't match for Cochran - wonder what that is all about. Hope it isn't one over the longer term we regret."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Josh Dunkley. Swans leading the competition losing prospects to bids not matched.
No doubt the Victorian clubs will still whine about the northern Academies even while benefiting from them."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment
