Wow, Roosy must really be reading RWO. 4 changes and 2 first gamers (first year players as well). Not happy with the McVeigh demotion though. Vogels will do well, he has the body and size to make an immediate impact.

All of a sudden I'm looking forward to Saturday night. McVeigh was a bit stiff though...

He's there because he's the 2nd ruckman. No one else can ruck and you can't expect Goodes to go all night.

LRT was probably one of the first names written in this week. Until at least one of Ball or Jolly returns he has to stay because asking Goodes to take all the centre bounces himself and ruck all around the ground all game is not going to happen.

Also, I thought LRT put in a pretty decent effort last week. I know that there were a few times when he stood and watched the contest but his opponent (while he was at CHB) was Hansen who had started the season on fire and had a reduced impact against us - yes, rain might have been a factor.

Very very happy to see Vogels in. Another tall marking option in the forward line is just what we need to take some of the opposition focus off Hall. My prediction is for Vogels to kick 3 on debut

Don't forget Saddo, he'll probably line up in the forwards as well. We could be stretching Essendon's defence on Saturday. The question is who will be the crumbers?

I agree but I am worried about the forecast of shower or two for Saturday.
We have gone pretty tall with Vogels and Saddo in the team.
With Vogels and Saddington in the team does that mean Saddo will play down back?

I hope that your right that Vogels kick 3 and I would like to see a 3 + return (would be a bit of an underachievement from the recent 2nds games) Nothing like a little pressure!

Lots to like about the team and I also hope that the positons are not to mixed up during the game KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)

Rods changes with the selected team

Maxie to the bench (Impact player) - Kennelly to the wing and Matthews to the HBF for starting positions

some unlucky outs and ?? ins I am looking forward to the game! Particularily after the unnessary @#$#$% from the week!

at last they bit the bullet.
the train will be a lot lighter this week with less passengers on board.
delighted for vogels and moore,i do hope they perform to justify selection, looks reasonable on paper, will be better when the ruckmen return

If the tall guy in the FP can still bend his back he is about the best crumber I have seen.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

My only disappointment is Nicks has been dropped according to White line fever.

But great news for Vogels - elevated to senior list and Moore coming .

                        Saddington is okay I hope.

                        Go Sydney Go.
                        Love those Swans

Good to see that Roos had the balls to make some changes to the team, just pissed off that McVeigh again is dropped when its senior gametime and plenty of it that he needs. Still good on Moore and Vogels for their first games and welcome back Saddo, who would of thought he would be so welcomed. Mathews = meh

Happy about Vogels, shocked and dissapointed re: McVeigh.

I am thinking we will probably win this week anyway, but McVeigh is the future and has to be given some serious chances.

Wow we're no longer the 4 foot midgets we have been for the last 3 weeks.

Good on Moorey and Vogels to break into the side, although i just wish they'd give Malceski one freaken chance to shine!

Glad to see Nicks gone..hopefully for good!
