I guess that makes "everyone" then.

I wonder why LRT didnt follow Waite down to the swans forward line in the 1st half then ?

He was just one of a few. I still haven't found any views to the contrary.

He probably should have at times. At other times probably not as it crowds our forward line even more.

He didn't follow Riewodlt when he went down the swans F50 either. Maybe that is his instructions, or he just lost his opponent.

In what way? What does that mean anyway?

If LRT doesn't follow his man when Carlton are flooding doesn't meant LRT is no longer on/responsible for Waite.

When the opponents are flooding, the backmen have to work out when to make themselves a target in the F50 and when to stay out so they don't crowd it.

If Waite is in the backline or midfield because he has come up the ground, that in no way invalidates the view that LRT was playing on him for the first three quarters.

There may be plenty of rotations and switches in modern football, but it is still 18 on 18, and everyone still needs to be responsible for an opponent.

Just keep an eye on barry's posts and you'll be sure to see it when it pops up again.

I think we'll get see some photos of LRT's cape and an explanation on the benefits of wearing his underpants on the outside.

LRT (1 kick, 2 handballs, 2 marks, 1 free for, 4 frees against, 2 clumsy stacks, 1 crawl on knees 2nd effort) destroys Pavlich (17 kicks, 7 handballs, 14 marks, 1 free against, 4 frees for, 5 goals, 2 behinds)*

*none of those possessions recorded while LRT was on him. LRT spent considerable time on other players.
