LRT gives us the structure we have been looking for and try Malceski and Moore as outside midfielders for starters.

It is time to throw Malceski into the mix. I find it interesting that Mal is the same height as Judd but one kilo heavier. So his body is ready for the rigours of senior footy.

Yep Malceski needs to be a regular almost from game 1 next year.

But what's the point if we dont have a functioning ruck?

I think Evereyy would be a real asset to back up Jolly until we can develop another young guy. They say ruckman take quite a bit longer to mature.

That would be great if we got Spider Everrit, an absolute gun of a ruckman.
Chris Judd is a gun, pity he ain't a Swan

As with everyone else (by the sounds of it) I would love big spida, I just think the hawks will play hard ball (after all he is already contracted)

Better options may come in the form of B McDonald or D McLaren - the lions are looking to lift some cap space so they can re sign drummond, sherman and co - or maybe use it to persuade Motlop north. I think powell or just simply some draft picks might be enough - and if they throw in Notting I will take that as well

                          Looking less likely now:

I'd suggest a ruck combination of 2 first rank ruckmen such as we had this year is pretty unusual. In fact describing Jolly (Doyle and Shaw and perhaps Goodes ~ yes I said it, Goodes) as a non-functioning ruck seems a tad hysterial. And no I'm not against getting Spider (I think he could be excellent but think there's a lot to Newbie's price analysis) I just don't see a ruckman as our biggest problem. Mind you as Charlie abserved who we get rather depends on who'se offered ~ if there are no KPP's in the meat market then it's a moot point. And sorry about besmirching Coasties ~ I should have specified Wyong

Pity he's not as fast, however I will look out next year to see how he's made use of this pre-season.

I think perhaps their KPP woes may cure themselves, they have plenty of very young KPP's and I suspect they will start coming online in 2006.

Don't call me "no one" I have a name. I thought we got hosed on that deal, like we did with Rocca (although not as badly)

Correct me if I am wrong - but I thought at the start of the year we played, Ball, Jolly and big Doyle all at the same time.
We know Doyle is a bit of a gamble next year (but the coaching staff obviously like his size) - but semi fit he could go alright - therefore rather than killing our already depleting depth - lets trade a draft pick for a back up ruckman (Maybe Jamar or McLaren)

I will say the unthinkable - please dont go saddo
