    worth reading
Frosty is glowing in his comments re Serong
I also saw a clip floating around online from earlier in the year where both Sicily and Barrass were raving about him, and how unlucky he was not to be in the first 22.

    Fingers crossed.

Foxsports take on their best 23 for each club next year. It includes 10 min media scrum interview with Charlie.

It mentions Rampe has not yet been offered a new deal?

Very tall FB line! Interestingly, no Lloyd and Rampe in the team. Harry on the I/C. He would be competing with Roberts who is a emerg. I would definitely replace Mclean on the I/C with Ladhams and Cleary with Dattoli as a close toss up.

However it does show how we can cover for both Ollie and Wilbur IF we have a healthy list (fingers crossed).

He's variously the worst player to ever don the red and white, utterly selfish, "hated" (his word, not mine) by his teammates, a cigarette smoker (I think), and there's some strange thing I couldn't follow involving him apparently tormenting children with a no show at a sports club. All that, and he spent four weeks confidently forecasting it was a done deal that he was off to the Gold Coast.

It all makes his old posts on here seem sane and rational.
Wow, he really needs to get some helpl!

Glad he found an outlet for his opinions. I'm even more happy that we don't have to put up with those opinions on RWO! It's great that posters can voice differing points of view here but his campaign against Rowbottom was aggressive and tediously relentless,

His attacks were totally uncalled for and unjustified- but he was funny at times!

Funny is a bit subjective. Sometimes the nutter on the bus is funny, if he's not sitting next to you. It's less funny, if he ventures somewhere into your personal space. It's even less funny, if he's getting on to your bus every day.

I really like our best 23 and I think there will be only 2 changes to that side.

                  1. Mclean for Ladhams - based off an interview on 360 Cox said if 5 on the bench he would play 2 rucks
                  2. Rowbottom - we encouraged him to look elsewhere so I'd say he's not in Coxs immediate plan going forward (up to him to prove otherwise)

gets me excited for next year already

Was Rowbottom actually asked to look elsewhere? I thought he's name up because of the GC rumours, which he flatly denied and even rejected interest from Collingwood. He loves the club and i see him as a heart & soul player. Relieved he is staying put.

After enticing Wilbur & Ollie out, we have to be careful we don’t start throwing the baby out of with the bath water.

Harry, Lloyd & Rampe are almost certainly in their final year and we need the next tier step up in terms of leadership & experience.

Given our less than stellar recruiting of non-Academy prospects I dont mind flipping the script and trying a different approach. Change was needed following the GF debacles and its finally coming.

Hopefully the coach is as good as they say, personally i would have preferred an entirely new external voice but he has chance to show us what he can do.

Charlie could be great, average or get injured in a practice match. Who knows, but I like the ambition.

i suspect with rowbottoms age, qualities, direction on the field and minimal in the comp like him a fair few teams would have enquired

I suspect it’s somewhere in the middle. Cox hinted on SEN this week his message to Rowie in the end of year meeting was that he’d have to fight a bit for his preferred position in the side, I assume because with a full preseason under his belt he wants Mills in there, and you can’t play them all. These things tend to get out via managers, hence the interest.

But Cal Twomey also said after the McRae call, Rowie simply switched his phone off and told his manager he was staying and would fight for his spot.

I hadn’t realised until today that while Rampe and Lloyd have indicated that they want to play next year, they have not yet been offered a contract. I suspect what is happening is the club is hanging on as long as they can to get a read on where King, Carmichael, and Kyle will likely fall in the November draft.
The possible scenario is both Rampe and Lloyd will be delisted to make room on the primary list, with a promise that they will be redrafted via the rookie draft
