If they would, um, they'd deserve him!

they need a ruckman! Biglands is out for a while and Clarke has retired! Chambers for Macgregor i say, and hang onto Fosdike.

Actually, I can never understand why these players want to go home if they come to Sydney to play. I left Adelaide for Sydney 15 years ago and have no desire to go back there to live....

Come on RWO all this talk about Chambers is a joke.

If no one is interested in talking to a talent like Gardiner, then Chambers is not going to illict even a sneeze come trade week.

People need to get more realistic with their assessments of players on our list compared to players on other lists.

With the quality of this years draft if we want a top 10 draft pick you will be giving up the likes of Goodes, Hall or Kirk (ie it ain't going to happen).

We maybe able to offload a Fossie to Adelaide for a second rounder that can snare Everitt but even that is going to be a hard deal.

As far I am concerned we need to look to secure Everitt, bolster our midfield from within and look to a tall KP defender with our top 20 draft pick this year.

Other clubs aren't insane - as if they would make that trade!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Surely Chambers has no trade value. He showed little when he was on the field and to walk out on the club midway through the season wouldn't put him in the best light to the other 15 clubs.

Plus he's on a 3 year contract and god knows what salary he was offered to switch from Geelong.

Why would you trade any of the current side? To lose the Grand final by 1 point when you played footy that would have got you beaten by Calton - I'd say that you've got a pretty good team. We would be better to develop draft pick and the players we've got if we are going to remain a powerhouse in AFL.

of course all the talk about Chambers is a joke! The whole football world knows he has failed as an AFL player. We've made some great recruiting decisions but this wasn't one of them. Amazed some of you were taking me seriously.

Torture for Space Cadet Mark Powell. That has more merit than Chambers for McGregor.

I was thinking about that today - with cheap airlines now it is easy for your mates to come and see you, plus you go there at least twice a year for games etc.

That does not include the off season either.

I think you would receive a top 10 for Buchanan and possibly Ablett. The rest 15-20 at a guess.
