I think that was the point - it was hypothetical.

Couldnt agree more! Roosey has been unbelievable in what he has brought to the club, that WINNING, SUCCESSFUL culture. We have all been very spoilt not only in roosey's era, but way back to 1996, where we have been consistently in the finals and 3 grand finals. Surely people must realise there comes a time where the team IS NOT going to make the finals! In saying that though, 2002 was a poor year, like this, and we bounced back in 03. Could very well be the same case next year if we can recruit/trade well and keep the development going which is what roosey is trying to do.

I would love to see Nathan Buckley come in and take over the midfield role. Hopefully Longmire gets the North job, although I doubt it.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

The duty of care weighs heavily on my conscience." Hall would have if given a chance, found a convenient phone box, changed into the No. 1, ripped through the bombers defense, kicked six and probably put the serial tripper and flying elbows merchant Fletcher over the fence with a hip and shoulder (shades of Plugger) for good measure. He wanted to stay so badly it hurt.

          He was suspended!

          He couldn't have played anyway!

That's the whole point of the problem. He has missed 10 games in one and a half years. He is payed to play senior football. He wasn't giving himself every chance of playing every game.
The VERY thing that you are saying is shooting down your argument. You are saying that he would give anything to play for the Swans.
Well it was quite simple really. He was one of the first ones picked to play every week.....................so you can't blame Roos ....................yet it was Barry that kept on placing himself in situations where he might get rubbed out.
          He was warned!
But yet some like yourself continue with the crap lines............... "He wanted to stay so badly it hurt."

Didn't hurt him enough ..........................that's obvious to ALL who 'support' the Swans!

He was suspended by the codes DISCIPLINARY . . . body. What WE are talking about is being BOOTED out of a club. Why was he punished TWICE . . . . ?

If Hall can be booted out of the club on the basis of an absurd hypothetical (will you knuckle anyone again Barry?) we can consider a hypothetical situation of him wanting to come back.

It may have escaped your attention but the club is bleeding red ink. We are no longer the red and whites just the red inks. Roos who had the highest paid football coaching department in the comp is going to have to do far more hands on coaching. To imagine thet the club could afford the big Bucks is a fantasy even i struggle with. Hall was just booted probably because of the financial disaster that Chairman Dick hasn't got a clue about. Bucks and None.

Roosey's job is safe for as long as he wants it.
                      Get over it.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Now I think I am a real supporter because I don't miss Ressie home games!! I got tabs on myself. Actually I don't understand why there are not more supporters at the ressies, mostly they are pretty good matches, you get to see the future, you have something else to ponce on about and you get two games for the price of one!

Roosy is a dedicated teacher of boys to men. He is a well balanced good man. He is a very good coach. But there is a limit to miracles produced at any one club and he has managed to supply us with quite a few, so back off everyone. We don't want the poor man to go grey yet.

You are selling the messiah short. He is going to play the infirm Good Barry at full forward to replace Bad Barry. There is no limit to his miracles!

I'd like to see a straight swap Laidley (as assistant) for Horse. Is there a draft for coaches???

Love to see Hall as the forwards coach too.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

The club is not bleeding red ink. We are on track for a $500K loss, mainly due to spending $4.2m more in our football dept than the likes of NMFC. Easily rectified.

Buckley would be on a good assistant coach wage but the opportunity to launch himself into the Sydney-dominated national media is one to factor in.
