If sherman doesn't want to come - then go to dogs. Interesting when dogs have $5m debt - not much money for players coming in.
Maybe no more trades for Sydney this week. Anyone know of any players worth the Swans looking at.
We had a bit of interest in Tony Armstong from Adelaide who is from nsw and grew up supporting the swans and loves goodes, so unlike sherman sounds like he would love to play for us.

Armstrong played a handful of games at the Cows this year and looked quite good but he had an off field indiscretions a month ago caught drink driving .213 and lost his licence for a year so if we trade him in he'll need a lift to training! Well worth a try for a late pick swap, particularly as he has red and white blood
I don't think he got de-listed without a reason. How many players have we had over the years that were solid at VFL level? Good luck to him but hardly likely to hurt us in the future.
And what was that reason?
In recent years we have given taller players more than two years. We even gave Daniel O'Keefe three years. Taller players typically take longer to develop so I was shocked when we gave Faulks the ass after only two seasons when we gave hacks like Mathew Davis and Ed Barlow longer than that.
And Faulks wasn't just solid in the VFL this year, he was named as the best CHB in the league, at the age of 21. He also earnt a state jumper. I think there is a very good chance that we made the wrong call on him.
Maybe we should wait to see if he even ever plays a senior AFL game first, let alone if he goes onto become a more competent defender than the ones we actually held onto and developed, before we start self-flagellation on behalf of the Swans list management team.
