Bloody hell. Someone's on the ball. His Wikipedia page has been updated already.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I don't think the pick is set in stone yet, depends on the GC compensation picks.

Don't have a good feeling about this trade as I feel Ves had so much potential but maybe our environment will bring out the undoubted talent in Everitt. Plus pick 73 or whatever isn't worth much so probably a fair deal.

At least that one is out of the way quickly so we can concentrate on whoever else we have our eyes on. Not keen on giving up pick 21 though (in what is touted as a deep draft) given the excellent players taken in recent drafts around this number.

Lol, there are people out there whose first thought when something of note happens to someone or something is "Wow, their Wikipedia page is out of date, I'd better fix that!".

Good trade swannies. Plenty of potential there with little spider.

                    Longmire - radio

                    on Everitt
Liked him as a kid a few years ago. Can play few roles - tall, mobile. Pleased to do the deal.
Will play HB, wing even. Can play on different sized players, and will add flexibility to the team. Good below his knees.
We look at the age bracket, we don't have a lot of players in this age bracket, just a few. No real hard policy on age brackets though.
He can play straight away, we've seen blokes like him a bit older come in and make an impact.

                    on Sherman
spoken to Brisbane, we really rate Justin, we understand his first preference is Melbourne but there is still water to go under the bridge yet.
A lot of speed came in last year which was important, but never can have too much speed.

Picks this far out often move about due to earlier picks not being used or this year one or more of the GC compensation picks being utilised. It will however be somewhere around that number.

I think we should cuty Patty free, Vespas are more suited to flat Melbourne than they are to hilly Sydney.
Hope we haven't replaced the Vespa with a Honda step through........

David Hale to Dees, for 2nd round pick, and they swap first rnd picks.

Cya Vez ya spud.... Cart wheels after a goal don't impress me as much as getting a regular game.

                              Told you he was history!!!

Who will he replace in the 22 to play HB or wing? I just can't get excited about this trade and very disappointed to see Vesz go. Another first round pick failing to pay off for the club... far and away our weakest area re recruiting.
