There doesn't appear to be anything anywhere as I certainly couldn't find anything when I had a search around this morning.

Why has Emma Quayle suddenly become a gospel writer? Seems she's the only one privy to this information.

As I said earlier it's LJ for the Crows pick 36 and Armstrong thrown in to confirm the deal. Not the other way round. If it is true.

I can't recall the Benny and Josh deal discussed until after it happened.

I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to following trade week. But it seems it has been really quite not just with the Swans, but across the whole of the AFL.
But is it usual for so little to happen this far into the week? Does it all usually happen in the last two days? Or is it just a quiet year?

It usually happens in the last 2 hours! I think we will find a number of trades go through on monday morning leading up to the 2pm deadline.

@sydneyswans have just secured silky skilled half back Tony Armstrong and two picks, 35 & late one, with Lewis Johnston to Crows #tradeweek

I have a strange feeling about this that I cannot reason with. LJ had only played a handful of games in a few season, battling injuries and attitude and yet I feel so uneasy and disappointed that he is going to the Crows. I know we should trust the recruiting department etc etc BUT I still feel uneasy.

@@@@ that. *Sigh* Getting Walsh on the cheap is the only thing that will make this trade week passable. I can't understand their logic and all and I'm exceptionally disappointed they did this having so recently signed LJ on a contract. He's got the talent and the skill. I'm sure all he needed was a little time and confidence on his side. Good luck to him though and I hope Armstrong isn't as bad I suspect he is...

Is it because we come off as massive gimps? Armstrong wasn't contracted and wanted to come to Sydney, so what do we do? Throw Johnston in just to be nice? Absolutely disgusted tbh.

Exactly. Can't believe no one at the footy club thought 'hey, is it just me or is Adelaide screwing us over?' Feeling sick in the stomach and dreading the day I see LJ in a Crows jumper.

Disappointed. I always had high hopes for LJ.

So confirmed on twitter Armstrong to us, and LJ off to the crows.

I actually hope he fires for the Crows, someone at the Swans needs to be shown how stupid this is. Not even just because of his potential, but because it is so unnecessary and we held all the power. If we haven't secretly secured Walsh this is even more of a disgrace.

No, 2nd rounder and a "late pick".

Me too, but moreseo cause I do like LJ and would love to see him blossom into the player we all hoped become. Walsh/Lisle/Macaffer - I'm not too fussed who we've secured, but there better bloody be SOMEBODY.

Maybe we are forgetting that AJ may have possibly asked for trade if possible when the armstrong deal came up...

The ? also begs what is happenign with Sumner, i most certainly thought hye would ahve been part of the deal....

Maybe our thinking is we have enough developing mid sized forwards..TDL, Campbell Heath, Jed Lamb plus our pinch hitting mid's, McGlynn etc that have evolved better...

You sorta wonder if we might make a play in the PSD for Fev while our forward line has more time to develop..Just seems to be sitting there in the background....
