Whilst I continue to be excited about Armstrong (and none of this is his fault) have to agree with the sentiment that the trade appears very much in Adelaide's favour.

Here is what some Adelaide fans are saying:

Great Trade by the Crows here

    How the hell??

This is unbelievable. How did we get a promising key Position forward so easily.

    oh my god.

    top trade, welcome home lewis.

Super trade. Well done Nobes. Welcome LJ!

Very good pickup. Don't know what the Swans were thinking.

Thanks. I really needed to read Adelaide reveling in their glory when I'm pissed off beyond belief.

Yeah I avoided any posts by Adelaide supporters for that very reason, just to have it shoved in my face here.

          Gospel now.

Reading it, you don't get the impression the Swans were sad for him to go

Lewis is not a key position forward and the Swans would never have let him go if they didn't have a good reason. So I will go with their knowledge.

Nick Davis was a superb kick too so we've been down that track before.

I don't understand the point for the high draft pick. What's the point of that? Sumner will get delisted and picked up in a draft. No big deal.

Interesting tweeter from Emma Quayle concerning LJ heading to the crows

@Crashlah there is some behind the scenes stuff with Lewis that I think meant it just wasn't going to work at sydney.

Funny, on Trade Week Radio today they were saying LJ was barely worth pick 35 alone.

I don't know why people are excited about Walsh, he never got a game at St Kilda and was just an average player at VFL level.

maybe we got a good deal with Armstrong wanting to come to us and Adelaide thinking by gaining LJ was a big plus...

Im dissapointed to lose LJ, but the first 3 mins of this clip make me feel slightly better. (Note he is taking the kickouts, and barely misses a target)

It was Lewis for pick 35. Armstrong the bonus.

We traded Fitzy to the Crows as well. He was KPP and injury prone.

I respect the people running the club enough to trust them on this. They've traded superbly in the past. Wouldn't be surprised to see the pick 35 used for another trade.

Taking kick out and barely missing a target? That is unSwan like. It's the major cause of our distress. What will we replace it with now?

If Barlow was the new Goodes, could Armstrong be the new Micky?

Emma Quayle obviously has good links.
