Just got home from Footy Park and still feeling bloody fantastic. Oh the sight of Cows supporters leaving their seats 10 minutes before the end to beat the traffic was lovely.

We beat the traffic by hanging around high fiving other Swans fans for 20 minutes :-)

Looking forward to the replay on FOX tonight. At the ground I thought we should have got a few more frees, Dangerfield getting tackled after he'd had two bounces, a Cow who clearly dragged the ball under and made no attempt. Haven't seen but assume they got more frees than us although talkback callers on the way home indicated the Cows got a raw deal from the umps. They really have no idea, need to get into the real world.

Great effort guys, we're not out of flag contention.

Oh, and late change Morton for Walsh was a masterstroke if it was planned.

    Go Bloods!!

      Poor Benny.

Forgot to say that we didn't miss Reg at all during that game.

Good tackle by Jetta but it was a play on call because Dangerfield got a handball away when he was tackled.

We looked far more assured with the footy with Reg out.

Awesome, awesome effort. Crows can win as may H&A against us as they like -- we win the one that matters

LRT back and Morton starting forward makes both ends look better somehow. Great to see Jetta lift but Goodes was the difference today.

Commiserations to Benny, but I guess it keeps Morton in for Grundy's return. Could Reg go to half-forward and provide a marking target? Or does he stay back (with LRT) and release Smith into the midfield?
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

My unreserved apologies to my neighbours for the noise emanating from these premises a little while ago.
We will need Ben in two weeks though. Can a Chinese herbalist fix him? The healing hand of Jesus?

I don't know what you are talking about Burt? Morton doesn't really need developing and he was pretty good today. 2 goals 2 goal assists and several tackles. He led up well and showed the maturity of the experienced AFL player he is. Walsh certainly needs developing and I'd say unless something goes really wrong he won't play Seniors again this year. But Armstrong would be a good in for the 'I stuff up in finals' Shaw! Shaw has always stuffed up in finals and nothing much has changed. Look at his first final against Brisbane!

My hangover is gradually subsiding even after sitting in the pub yelling at thd big screen , losing my voice - does this mean I have to go out on the turps every Friday from now on?
What a game. No one gave us a chance! Let's do it all again in 2 weeks time. Loved how Morton just fitted right in - please can we keep him? Jett's and Goodsey hv got their mojo's back - and Teddy & Josh WOW!!! They all put in and we all are so proud. I'm in love with all of them. Bring on the prelim!!!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Morton's effort and touches complimented his two goals. His effort was superb. Even Jetta, before he hit the scoreboard was trying to rip the ball out of packs and I knew he was in for a big game when I saw that. Bit stuff to get done for two throws! Home ground umpiring !!!
