If you want a laugh, read the Adelaide Bigfooty thread on Tippett, especially the posts from 6th October onwards when Tippett announces the Swans as his desired club.

They are not only foaming at the mouth about the whole scenario but put up unbelievably stupid logic. A whole host of them say Tippett was rubbish anyway as a player, never made their top 10 B&F, can't kick and he is no loss then immediately believe he is worth a minimum two quality Swans players in return! And I have to live in Adelaide with these brain dead Crows supporters - sheesh!

I wasn't trying to make a case for Walsh being a comparable substitute for Tippett next year, just that in light of Morton now adding a new dimension to our forward line I would rather us play Walsh at full forward than give up any of our young guns or even, wait for it, 1st draft pick in order to get Tippet.

I didn't really expect anyone to agree with me but I would still hate to see Parker eg traded, more than I would be upset if we didn't get Tippett. I just don't want to lose any of our young stars in the making.

Bloody sad because I live amongst those cretins. They have such a narrow view of the AFL world. Every time a player wants to go home they bag him terribly and always think they got shafted in the trade.

I remember the absolute vitriol and anger at the three way trade that sent tagger Tyson Stenglein to WCE, someone I forget from WCE to Melb and Adelaide only got a nobody called Scott Thompson. Thompson for Stenglien - we've been shafted! Bet all those callers to sports radio talkback have forgotten making their foaming at the mouth call.

Spot on Wardy. Some of the comments on here about Grundy being the only one to trade have hit me for 6. He is a gun defender and someone much needed in our premiership defence.

Funny, becasue everything is proving to be utter BS. Some @@@@wit on the Adelaide board (FAITH) and his groupie disciples who hang off his every word are still pushing the Reid to Pies rumor now have their sights firmly set on Rohan...

Frankly he and almost all others know jack @@@@ and speculate because they have nothing better to do. Then there is every naive idiot who takes their word and then cries 'the sky is falling, the sky is falling!'.
