Having watched him more closely for the past three weeks than I ever have before, it's pretty obvious why his conversion rate is a bit patchy. He drops the ball onto his boot from a far way away. Mind you, it's a long way down.

Yep, it's all in the ball drop. Leaves far too much to chance, you'd have coaches running to correct it if he was an Auskicker so lord only knows how Adelaide didn't fix it.

I think we know there's only one man for the job of fixing it.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I was thinking the exact same thing Scotty.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

            Who, Jesse?

Hypothetical question for you. You arrive at a burning building, with Jesse and Davo trapped inside. You only have time to save one of them before the whole building blows up. Which do you save?

They had thirteen weeks plus the preseason to fix it. Wouldn't place too much hope on the goal whisperer

Nup, in all honesty it looks like one of those things we're just going to have to accept to live by the sword and die by the sword with. There's a lot to correct, but I'm assuming that it's not a situation where nobody has tried to fix it.

He's averaging 2.3 a game from three games including two of the wettest games of the year. He's doing the job were paying him for I would think. Not to mention he's racking up a few possessions and tackles too. Can't imagine how'd we be without him at the Moment with Reid and Goodes out.

I thought you were going to say neither, as Davo would save Jesse single handedly without anyone's help. He's no stranger to being the saviour!

Knives come out when he's one of our better players. Why are some so keen to stick the boot into one of our own?

Keep in mind that Reid went off after 10 minutes, and with him went a lot of our team strategy for the day.
Providing we get at least 4 points up on Freo - a win is a win.

Maybe we should name him Buddy.

Commentators on 3AW were saying that Tippett - especially in our side - is a 204cm 104kg giant, who in any other side would be a genuine ruckman, who we have the luxury as playing as a key forward.

Somewhat reminds me of Paul Salmon in his Essendon years ... but with the agility of BBBH or Plugger when the ball hits the ground (a couple of his snaps have been phenomenal). But won't be a tribunal regular. Pity he kicks like Barry Round at this stage. Maybe they should get Capper in to teach him to kick ... awkward but effective.
