Well, I did have a chat with him after the game.
I said, "Tip-Off, you KNOW I'm expecting the Coleman medal at the end of the year."
He said, "C'mon Annie, you know I've just started."
I said, "You'd better start working a little harder then."
He just laughed and signed my hat!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Although I'm happy with his general play, I was very disappointed with his post match interview with Tim Watson - all "dunno about that", "the boys worked hard" etc etc...

Would be awesome if Teddy or someone put him up to say something like...

"Yep Tim, the Tip was on fire today, would have done more if the delivery was better"

That other site would just about implode.

His contested mark in those conditions was exceptional.

So after death riding him all summer and making it petty clear you didn't want him at Sydney, you went and got him to sign your hat...

          Brilliant.

Presumably the hat belonged to a friend.

I feel sorry for the players for some of the stuff they have to grin and bear. I could imagine getting used to being called a @@@@@ over the fence by opposition fans but that stuff would be torture.

No LRT and now no Goodes or Reid. Our recruiting staff are brilliant in making sure we have Kurt. Imagine if we didn't . . .

He looked pretty imposing out there and appeared completely in control. Could be a genuine superstar.

I guess you meant 'for' but I chuckled all the same.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Tippett was superb against Carlton. With the Goodes Train derailed at the moment, it is super important that he step up and take the load up forward - to a point you can argue he is our best weapon for 'ripping' a game open currently available. Hopefully Sammy is back this week so that they can begin to develop their understanding and partnership. Just watch Sam flourish now that he knows he isn't going to be the focus of the no 1 defender week in week out.

Stopped getting my hat signed after the fan day a couple of years ago. I only got a handful of signatures, but they were beauties....TDL, Campbell Heath, Matt Spangher. I don't wear "the hat of death" much these days....
