Yep. Would be a very good. Heard an interview with him the other day n it sounds like he'll stay though. I think that's why his name doesn't get bought up a lot. If jones goes my preference is Hopper. Do what we've always done very well. Bring in young talent on the cheap n watch them develop.

I still think that Sam will stay. Sam and his partner Kim are having their first child. Kim is a Sydney girl and close to her parents.

I didn't want to talk about this subject because Ludwig always gets in trouble when he talks about babies. Ludwig doesn't like working with babies and animals. They're unpredictable and always want to do something Ludwig doesn't feel like doing. Ludwig also doesn't like being urinated on (unless it's part of a sex act).

Anyway, if you think mummy boys are a problem, mummy girls are even worse, especially when they have their first child. Can't see Sam going to Melbourne, unless he wants to go alone.

Yep agree. He wants to stay but the club wants him gone. Trouble is if they treat him to badly he could very easily start talking to the media about their PED program

Should we lose Jones (which is becoming increasingly likely), are Hopper or Kennedy good replacements? Both are out of contract at the end of the year. I don't know enough about MK though. Is he an inside or outside mid? Both? Can we afford one of them? I'd love to pinch some GWS talent.

I'd still prefer to keep Zak but I'd be happy to trade whatever first rounder we get for him to GWS for Hopper.

It could be win-win. We get a hard nut elite talent who a NSW lad and we probably save a bit of cap space. GWS free up some space (gee it must be getting tight with Shiels, Cameron, Lobb, Patton etc all on big deals) and possibly enable them to keep Kelly.
