Easily replaced by a American pit bull / greyhound cross, with good disposal skills. Not since BBBH have we had someone with such borderline aggression control (though little Benny McG did a fair impression at times).

Don't think Budd will drop off after 2018, it's just his role will evolve to accomodate his maturing body morphology.

Tipp's decline has probably downwardly plateauing (up to a dozen games a year @ 1-2 goals a game (he'll get his goal average up before the year is out for 2017)

We've already let Jetta and Malceski go can't let another player that gives us run go.

As for Buddy I agree he'll drop off if doesn't lose some weight... Looks like he's wearing speedos

Agree he has provided us with some much needed 'spite'.

So you think he'll carry Sydney's forward line by himself in 2019 aged 32?

Jones and Reid will both stay so we can now focus on what/who we need to enhance the list even further!

                  Is that opinion or fact?

Someone will step up. Lloyd already does the run role. We don't seem to miss a beat when Jones is suspended. There is always AJ, Allir or next recruit.

Key forwards are harder to replace.

Should we lose Jones (which is becoming increasingly likely), are Hopper or Kennedy good replacements? Both are out of contract at the end of the year. I don't know enough about MK though. Is he an inside or outside mid? Both? Can we afford one of them? I'd love to pinch some GWS talent.

An article on 'The Roar' says the Tigers are said to be interested in Sam Reid.

Hopper yes, Kennedy not up to it yet.

Hopper. I'd previously said he wouldn't be interested due to not getting much time in the midfield but have since changed my mind as I stated in a post that if jones left he'd get time in the midfield. I'd give up the pick we get for jones which will be around pick 12. I'd rate Hopper way more than anything you'd get in the draft with that pick.

I wouldn't say no to M Kennedy depending on what GWS wanted. 2nd rounder yes but if they wanted a first rounder I'd say no.

That rumour has been doing the rounds since the beginning of the year.

Hopper definitely. He is from Leeton, so NSW product. Got 32 touches in his debut game last year, which is an
amazing effort. Very solidly built. Kennedy can play, doesn't panic, but probably wouldn't be in their team if it
weren't for injuries. They are both tough characters.

Richmond are always interested in anybody! Several teams desperately need a contested mark KPF, Richmond amongst them so The Roar not telling us anything new but not sure how they afford him given Martin is expected to cost them $1mill+ to retain and last year they coughed up for Prestia and Caddy.

I expect a number of teams are in discussions with Reid's manager, some may interest Sam as a destination but most won't. Doubt he'll go unless it's a really big offer that we won't/can't match. If the offer is beyond our means, it will be Band 1 compo.
