How long have we been in a premiership window for and how long to you expect to be in one? I would say that since 2012 we've been premiership fancies, how long are we supposed to keep it going for before we slip? I would argue that we are going through a rebuild, not a major Lions style rebuild but a rebuild none the less. Look at how many young players we've brought through in the last 2 seasons. If we can bring in a top 10 talent for Reid you would have to seriously consider it

Steve may would be an awesome pick up if we let go space in the cap"be tough, only when it gets tough"

I don't think he will be leaving GC and he's not a free agent, so would cost a lot in draft picks or players. Maybe if Reid went for a 1st round compo pick, we could trade that for May, and I can think of a couple of players I wouldn't mind throwing in as sweeteners. If he did play for us, I think we would make him a forward, because our back line is already developing well.Comment

Swap our first (or second if Reid jumps ship) for the Hawks 2018 first, clever thinking Ludwig.
I reckon Hawks will slip further next year with another round of retirements and key players ageing, plus most other lower clubs seem to have more upside right now than the Hawks.
Think we need Dustin Martin more than we need Steven May.Comment

I think it may have been to look at another option to get Aliir into the side. If Longmire likes the current defensive setup, then perhaps we could play one ruckman and Aliir forward or back, who could take a turn in the ruck along with Reid. It also may give us a positional Plan B in games, if we could swap Reid and Aliir between defense and forward, so if Reid's having a slow game up forward, then we could swap positions.Comment

Does Aliir play back up ruckman in the NEAFL? I can't remember seeing him do it in the few games I've watchedComment

Is there blood in the water and whose is it.
The Sydney Swans will consider all list options in trying to bounce back from a horror 2017
Jones or Reid or Tippett or who else.

I think Tippett and Jack will play on Thursday, big games for both.Comment

We normally go "dark' when trying to trade in the shadows, unless trying to create interest for other clubs.Comment
