Blaming the coach because we drop marks and the hawks take them is laughable - watch the replay and you will see how bad some our stars were tonight - blaming the coach is a cop out on our players

        Exactly to script.

We cannot beat Hawthorn. @@@@@@ up our season again. Played right into the hands of Hawthorn. They lift only against us. 2012 hurt them too much. We're as weak as piss.

Oh and @@@@ YOU Buddy for smiling and hugging your 'mates' after the game.
And @@@@ you Mitchell you money-grubbing Judas mother@@@@er traitor.

Next season I may not even watch a Hawks Swans game because we all know who will win by a goal. I don't need this much stress.

Yes he should instruct the players to play tight...did no-one watch the last game between the 2 teams!

The criticism is selecting Foote as an emergency. But I doubt they expected him to play.
Surely you'd take the 3 players you'd think you'd most want to use? I really don't get Foote being picked when there are others doing better in the NEAFL and when he's shown nothing at AFL level.

The thing about Longmire's coaching is that it works against everyone but Clarko. I reckon Clarko could take a team of Auskickers and beat the Swans. If we do make the finals, we won't have to beat the Hawks for once this year, surely that's a positive.

It feels so much like that Collingwood run - where it didn't matter what we did they won against us, no matter how god damn awful they were or how good we were. Longmire consistently gets his tactics wrong against the Hawks time and time again.

To much dumb footy, poor decision making.

A couple of out before the game certainly threw the balance.

Hawthorn have definitely got into some players heads with their relentless pressure.

Shows we need at least one more key defensive position player.

Cannot blame the coach, the third quarter showed that we could hold them and the first 5 mins in the last got us into lead. Then Hawthorn applied the pressure and we couldn't counter it.

We should still make the eight, but most likely in the bottom half.

Hawthorn have 2012 burned in the back of their skull. Will never allow themselves to forget it.

Nope been round longer than that - he did his best to get the Dawks home in 2012, but that day we won a remarkable premiership despite the maggots bending us over.

On a week where there is no NEAFL game, it is bizarre that you wouldn't take a full lot down there as emergencies. Foote is simply not up for the bright lights of AFL footy at this stage - he makes Towers early efforts look herculean in comparison.

What will be our excuse. Umpires. Injuries. Players. Weather. Fixture.

Or is it that Clarkson is just a way better coach. For me, pretty simple to see.

They're just psychologically stronger than us. Even McVeigh @@@@@@ it up against that wanker Langford.
