Fair enough I seem to remember him playing a blinder against us. Surprised I haven’t blocked out that trauma #GFPTSD

Not unlike Tom Boyd, who also has played one good game in his career.

I see Collingwood have delisted Sam Murray but plan to redraft him as a rookie.....he's hanging on!!

Suspended Murray set for lifeline as Pies chop five - AFL.com.au

That round two pick is looking better all the time.....

"By the end of 2016, Tippett and Franklin combined commanded one-fifth of the cap, with the squeeze being felt as early as 2014." Could that possibly be correct?

A loose one-fifth but not far from the mark.

In the wonders of remarkable contracts/feeling old, I was chatting to a friend who is a Bulldogs fan a couple of weeks ago and they pointed out that Boyd is going into the 5th year of his 7 year/$7 million contract. Whilst they took great joy in their premiership, and took great joy in reminding me of it, I wondered how common the frustration of Bulldogs fans was when he was able to fairly quickly rattle off that Tom had to date been paid $135k per senior game.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

And just to further extend the reckoning. Boyd has managed 553 disposals, in his four years at the Bulldogs. If we use a pay rate of one million per year, that's $7,233 per disposal. Nice work, if you can get it.

Boyd makes Tippett look like a star. I wonder if the bulldogs forum has a 5000 post thread on "Boyd!"?

So, Townsend formally delisted: Premiership hero among three Tigers cut - AFL.com.au.

He'd be my preference out of the DFAs in whom we have reported interest.

Jarryd Lyons delisted by the Suns, very surprising! Worth a look at for sure!

Why the hell have the Suns delisted Lyons? Buy, buy, buy!!!!

As per the foxsports article "According to the Official AFL Player Ratings, Lyons was the Suns’ best player in 2018 and was ranked 44th in the competition.
