In the wonders of remarkable contracts/feeling old, I was chatting to a friend who is a Bulldogs fan a couple of weeks ago and they pointed out that Boyd is going into the 5th year of his 7 year/$7 million contract. Whilst they took great joy in their premiership, and took great joy in reminding me of it, I wondered how common the frustration of Bulldogs fans was when he was able to fairly quickly rattle off that Tom had to date been paid $135k per senior game.

And just to further extend the reckoning. Boyd has managed 553 disposals, in his four years at the Bulldogs. If we use a pay rate of one million per year, that's $7,233 per disposal. Nice work, if you can get it.
