Agree100% with COR and Dawson. If we dont give them opportunity, they will leave and it will be our loss

I can appreciate the sentiment, and I do tend towards sharing it, but it's not exactly a like for like decision. Alex had played 2 games after 5 knee reconstructions and is now facing missing most, if not all, of next season after his 6th. Daniel has had 4 and I believe has now played through a few seasons (and kicked over 100 goals in that time) since returning and is looking to be healthy going into the season.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Sutcliffe was one of Freo's key onballers as a 19-20 year old when Freo were still finalists a few years back, not sure what has happened to him since but he seems to have dropped out of favourSwans target delisted AFL free agents
Must admit I don’t know much about Sutcliffe he is a small defender with no real apparent stand out strengths . Was originally drafted with pick 71 and has played 100 games so must have some ability
So I wonder where we see him fitting in?Comment

Hardly, Menzel has played 18, 19 and 13 matches over the last 3 seasons. AJ has played 1.5 and won't play another until the end of 2019 in a best case scenario

Nope, they picked up Tom SheridanComment

Why wouldn’t we pick up Menzel cheap ? . He kicks goals , something we have struggled with for years ( other than Buddy ).

Swans may decide not to take Menzel because of his history of ACLs. Isn’t that why Geelong would only give him one year contracts? We may want to do the same and he wants >=2Comment

I suspect Menzel would be just as starved of opportunity as any of our existing forwards, A huge percentage of the Swans attacks are directed at BF.
It was the same at the Hawks, probably one of the reasons why their coach ended up using him up the ground as a virtual decoy forward.
BF casts such a huge glamour.Comment

I’m from WA to. Australia wide its not non existent. It’s the number one sport in NSW & Qld which dwarf the traditional Aussie rules states population wise.
As for cricket you may be over it but attendances suggests a lot of the population isn’t.
From your point of view Foxtel may not be worth it but in regards to Foxtel for a lot of people it’s still worth keeping.Comment
