Jasper Pittard was just traded to North as the steak knives in the Jared Polec deal. I wonder if this affects North’s interest in Newman given Pittard and Newman play similar roles off half back.

Three lefties overlapping down the left flanks is key and I think north will want all 3 to set up their forwards

Plus north look like they will grab Dom Tyson for pick 31 minimum

Sounds possible for Ed Langdon pick 26 only if freeo see him going next year anyway and can attract more run or other key player - ed is exciting and will be hard to trade given he is contracted 2019

If Clarke is coming for a later draft pick, instead of the straight swap for Newman that was talked about earlier, it probably means they are no longer interested in Newman
