What I've noticed lately about Steve Silvagni is that he has contracted a massive case of Attention Deficit Disorder. It might be time
for the AFL to institute a Disaster Payment for all ex footballers with the proviso that they only make say, one comment per month
either to the media or as part of the media about football, or anything for that matter.Comment

His situation was a bit weird. Announced as a VFL signing then mysteriously disappeared off the list and re-appeared on the list of one of the Melbourne VFL teams.Comment

I know there’s permanent debate about his best role and fair enough too, but this is music to my ears at least.
Love the idea of Heeney playing the role he had in the back end of the year. Personally, I think he can easily fill and do a better job of the role he who should not be named had on the wing. Heeney is a better mark, has exquisite foot skills, can kick with both feet and still roll forward to be a goal kicking option.

I really hope we draft a ruckman to develop under Sinclair and Hickey. Watching McAndrew play, I have little faith in him becoming AFL standard.
Like Mike Pyke, he comes from a rugby background but that's where the comparisons end. Pyke was an elite rugby player, very athletic and played a position in rugby that required skill and vision (Fullback). McAndrew was playing at an amateur level as a second rower, a position that provides the grunt around the park. There are no requirements to kick or setup play as a rugby second rower, nor do you require blustering pace (checkout Pyke's try against the All Blacks). McAndrew main asset is his height (209cm) but in the games I've seen him play, he looks to lack mobility and is a bit uncoordinated. Having said all this, really hope he proves me wrong.
But in the meantime, we should take a young ruck in the draft as insurance for McAndrew not developing. Toby Conway seems to tick alot of boxes and looks to fall within our range. He would be a good chance to make big strides under Sinclair and Hickey.Comment

Speaking of Wicks, not sure of his contract status if he's signed up as yet. Same with Reid & number of others like Ronke whether they've been offered list spots.Comment

SOS could say to trade radio, I would rather not comment on Carlton as my son plays there. Everyone would understand and respect that.Comment
