Trad Radio this morning speculating on the Swans making a big play for De Goey. Their suggestion is we give up all of our first three draft picks for him. I cannot see that deal happening, although we may well have some interest in him despite the high risk involved.

I’d entertain the discussion and believe a combination of De Goey and Heeney as a fwd/mid combination would be pretty damaging, throw Paps into that mix be very versatile and dynamic, what do people think ?

I have been thinking on this as well, how many more kids do we need ? Especially as we have a cue of young talent lining up, then I ask who’s available that would really want to come to Sydney and I think the answer lies somewhere in between who we can get vs need/better than what we have and if it’s not better than we currently have in the position then we will have to go to the draft

Trade Radio is basically an ad platform for plumbing supplies and diet pills, with a bit of nonsense and a lot of platitudes from has-beens like Silvagni and Wallace thrown in to fill the gaps in between.

I've never heard a bunch of supposed trade experts so clueless about trading rules, points etc. Silvagni and Matt Rendell were list managers and really have NFI!
No wonder they have been moved on. Some of their player valuations are laughable, way over valued, way under valued, trade scenario's out of the books of schoolboys on BF.

Aaron Francis, former pick 6 never really come on, talented but either has no tank or no effort. Likely Essendon delist but Dodoro will want plenty for him. Wait until he gets delisted and add as a DFA

On a positive note, the AFL site is reporting that we are close to re-signing Lloyd on a three-year deal.
